The Staffenger Hunt

���� Did you know that there's an East Tipp staff member who dated Bob Griese? It's true. Hearing that made The Wheel think a bit.

����"You know, Wheel," The Wheel thought, "I bet there's all kinda people around here with all kinda interesting personal stories that I never knew. Maybe some other members of the East Tipp staff had lives before they came to East Tipp ... maybe some staff members still exist after 4pm!" In response, The Wheel announces the Staffenger Hunt.

���� The Wheel asks you to share a little-known fact about yourself. Perhaps you have eleven toes ... or you previously worked as a bounty hunter ... or your uncle played golf with JFK ... or you play the accordion for shut-ins ... or whatever.

���� The Wheel will then compile these tidbits into a 'Staffenger Hunt' for the staff. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to match the facts to the faces. More information about how to go about doing that will follow later -- just settle down until we get your submissions in.

���� Here are a couple of guidelines for your submission:


Be original.

���� Try to come up with something no other staff member is likely to have in common with you. If a match occurs by happenstance, we'll take care of it; however, please don't complicate the process by submitting "I work at a school."

Allow your horn to be blown.

���� Don't worry about submitting something that might be construed as "a little braggy." If you were named "Wheat Princess", dagnabbit, shout it from the rooftops!

Keep it a secret.

���� The whole goal here is to make people work to find the answers -- do not submit "I had a liver transplant." A great story, but not a very challenging question. If only two or three staff members already know about the fact you are submitting, that's probably OK.

Be truthful.

���� No Commander McBragg stories, please.


���� Now come on, no matter what the students think, there's got to be something interesting about you. Think hard. When you figure it out, mail it to The Wheel right away. And remember, shhhhhh.
