The Last Cigar Tray

The Ephorate donated the Last Cigar Tray to Lair No. 3 as the consolation prize for the Mass Challenge runner-up. It was first awarded in 2001 to Michael Moscherosch.

The Last Cigar Tray is a seven-inch diameter silver-plate ash tray manufactured by Wilcox Silver in 1890. At some time during the life of this tray, it was engraved with the opening notes and words of James M. Hubbard's Last Cigar, the unoffical theme song of the RR&R. Prior to coming into Rascal hands, it was owned by an antique store in California specializing in tobacco-related items.

Tradition dictates that the winner of the Mass Challenge will keep the runner-up supplied with cigars during the remaining meetings of the year.

The runner-up prize for Lair No. 1 is the McGeoy Bitter Cup.
