Thirteen Rascals, Rogues and friends attended the Antebellum Ball which was held at the Seargentsville Fire House on June 11, 2005.
Antebellum dance music was provided by Mr. Lemuel's Red Mill Serenaders. The evening's dance card opened with the Grand March, got warmed up with the Virginia Reel, continued with a Waltz and then turned the corner with the Soldier's Joy. When the winded dancers returned from a brief intermission, dancing resumed with a German Waltz and finished up with the chaotic Snowball Reel.
There were no injuries, arrests or food poisoning at this year's ball.
The 2005 Rascal o' the Year trophy was awarded to Ray Hull II.
