According to one report, Dave McFadden "presented his Maiden in the Mist poncho routine." Timons Esaias, who was not yet a member of the RR&R at that time, won the competition with his The Chambéry Conjecture. Winning the runner-up prize, the McGeoy Bitter Cup, was Vic Norman.
