Okay, so it's obviously time for a new Artist of the Month. Apparently nobody cares about Switchfoot, I see how it is. So here's a female pop artist, maybe that will get better response.
Seriously though I chose Rachael Lampa as my Febuary 2003 Artist of the Month because her new album totally rocks. It's been out about 10 months (give or take) and I've had it in my hands for less then a month. The entire album is a hit! This is my current choice of cds to use to thump the car while I'm cruising around town. Can't wait till it's warm so I can have the windows down. This album has all the requirements, tight harmonies and lyrics, and the all important catchy bass line. Rachels first album "Live for You" was a good debut album, and it really allows you to see how much she has matured in her second album. This young lady is waaaay talented, there isn't a secular pop artist who has anything on her. If you enjoy pop music then I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you buy this cd. And if you want some extra kick in your subwoofer pick of Lampa's Blur. Blur is a complete cd of remixes of her past songs off both previous cd's. I can assure you you won't be disappointed in the remixes!
