The Artist Spotlight for October 2002 is for those who like plain old rock and roll. Switchfoot is a fun group to listen to. They have catchy sounds on several of their songs. They are a simple four man group, but it never sounds that way on the cd. They have four albums out now, the third got much more notice then the first. I still pick their sophmore cd, New Way To Be Human, as my all around favorite. The sound is slightly more melancholy on their most recent album. If you enjoy high energy sounds and catchy lyrics this is the group for you.
