| #17: I have to make this a quick update because I need to leave for Drama club in a few minutes. There are a few things I need to talk about, though. First is that my Grandpa is very sick. His liver is producing a protein that is causing other orgens to malfunction, at the moment most notably his kidneys. He went to Witchita this weekend for surgery. The medicine he is on has a high sucsess rate, if the patient can toerate it, so if they can keep his body working long enough for it to start having an effect then he should recover somewhat. There is no cure. Next, Anne worked on editing ITHOP's credits last night, and was having the same problem I did when I last tried to fix them. We're not sure what to try next. Life is busy with Musical, and promising to get busier, but we're trying to find time to wrap up Francis's filming and start What Bob Ate. In news of no relevance, it was revealed to us today that Herculese's 14th labor had something to do with a hippo. And Before I leave for today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!! |

| #18: Life keeps moving. Sometimes I wish it would just pause for me so that I could actually get stuff done. Today (Dec. 4) I stayed home sick, with congestion, sore throat and a headache. Anne finally walked in the door, so we're going to edit if she doesn't have homework. I'll be back at school again tomorrow unless I get worse again tonight. I'm working on an essay for my college applications, and I'm worried about where I'm goign to be next year. Going away would be so totally different from my life thus far that I have trouble picturing it, but at the same time I don't want to stay in town because I am definatly ready to be done with highschool and the peers I've had here. So I think I'm going to go, but I'll miss my friends and my family, my activities and my home. So anyway, the essay is coming along decently well. I'm thinking of redesigning parts of this website, but I don't think that's going to happen today, probably not for a while. Next semester I'm taking Web Development, so maybe I'll have some good ideas and some more experiance to use for the site. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| #19: Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate it. I'm a little late, this being the 28th, but hey, better late than never. We've had a good holiday, and are hoping to wrap up ITHOP once and for all and to make some headway on Francis. Anne and I are also working on getting ICE to where we can post it. ICE is a fan peice we are doing of one of my favorite web comics. We are planning on reshooting one clip today, then finishing it. It's a minute long. Those of you who are extremely familiar with ITHOP's music may recocnize ICE's background music. And Now, for Something Completely Different: Anne and I have suddenly started to inexplicably slip into British accents in the middle of conversations. We blame Monty Python and the Beatles. |
#20: Today we are discussing Manly Anne. If you don't know who Manly Anne is, ask Alex. He's much better at explaining it than I am. The gist is that Anne is a super hero, and after going through a transformation sequence, Mild Mannered School Girl Anne becomes Manly Anne, defender of Racial Equality, Helper of the homeless, Fighter of Cancer, and general Hero. So next time the minnions of Evil are knocking on your metaphorical door, call Manly Anne! One short Transformation sequence, and Our Hero will have saved the day again!!! So... In other news... Allison has been writing again, which is wonderful for her sanity, and she drew a lovely picture of her D&D character, Gwen, smashing evil. I dropped fourty feat off of a ladder to deal massive damage. It was much fun. |

| #21: I was going to talk about Epic Musicians today, because I was working on it again earlier today, but I think I'm going to talk about Ice instead. Ice is 1 minute long, most of which we filmed back in November when we had a beautiful snow day. (I was in love with snow then, now I'm kind of dreading getting more of it. It's just so pretty when it first falls...) I had been reading the webcomic Ice, which I really enjoy and think that some of you might as well, though the author cations that while she rates Demonology 101 (her other webcomic) PG13 she rates Ice R. There is a scene where the main character is repetitivly shouting the F word, and a few scenes with some nuditiy, but I think it's not out of place in the story or over done. Still, not one I tend to read at school if I think people are looking over my shoulder. The first seven pages are totally safe, which is what our video is based off of, so go read those even if you don't want to read the rest in class. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| #22: March 2nd. I seem to be back to updating about monthly. Anyway, here's news from our world: ITHOP: Prototype DVD Burned!!! But the hardrive screwed up part of Scene 3, so Anne thinks that she can creativly re-insert the volume since the picture is fine, and we are still hoping to get it finished soon. Very Soon. Please, computer? ICE: When I put Ice onto YouTube I emailed the author about it and sent her a link. She emailed me back yesterday, and sounds interested but wasunabele to reach the page. Going a to try different method. Also, Ice has been favorited and it wasn't us. And it has 29 veiws, which can't all be mine. Very exciting. Writing: I managed to finish another chapter on The Hobbit File, but I'm not sure where I'm going with it. I should try to finish Julia, because I do know how it ends and should just make myself do it, but I don't write very well like that. I also got some work done on A Creative Design (take 2) and am happy with Epic Musicians at the moment. What Bob Ate: Unfortunatly is not moving. I think we're going to change it so that it's runs more like a Monty Python's Flying Circus episode than a Documentary. I'd really like to get it made, because it's funny and I don't think it would take too long to make. |
