Will of Samuel Witcomb 1709/90

The Will was signed in his own handwriting on 3 Dec 1708, and Proved the next year
To Rebecca my wife I leave 200 pounds, as promised when we married. I appoint her sole executrix
To my son Samuel Witcomb the houses now in the possession of Joseph Hobbs and Matthew Beale the Younger, carpenter
To my son John Turner Witcomb 100 pounds, to be paid one year after the decease of my wife
To my daughter Hannah Stancomb 20 shillings
To my grandson Stephen Jones 5 pounds
To my grandson Samuel Stancomb the house now in the possession of Samuel Webb in Harper St, between the house of Nathaniel Martin and of John Chapman

The Will provided facts to build on -
Is Samuel the son of Robert Witcomb Baptised 13 Jan 1627 or of Edward on 28 Aug 1634?
Samuel Whitcomb wed at Tetbury to Rebecca Stockwell 15 May 1662
Samuel baptised Rebecca 14 Feb 1662/3 and she wed 1 Mar 1692/3 to William Jones
Samuel also baptised Hannah 17 Nov 1670, Samuel 23 Jul 1689, and John 24 Dec 1690.

Rebecca Witcomb appears to be the second wife of Samuel Witcomb.
I have not looked for Mary Oldham and her children Ann, Mary, Abigail, Elizabeth and William born 1713 (written into the Will after the main text was completed)
John Turner Witcombe witnessed John Turner's Will, with excellent handwriting, on 14 Aug 1719.

Will of Rebekah Witcomb 1715/59

Will signed by Rebekah on 3 Nov 1713, and Proved 15 Mar 1715 (Old Date Style)
This beautifully handwritten Will (which is alas hard to read)
The first clause of the Will leaves her property to Josiah Paul and Giles Pick as Trustees for the lifetime of her son John Turner Witcomb, and then to her daughter Mary Oldham and Mary's children
I give to my daughter Mary Oldham my great Bible, my best bed, my green rug and all my wearing apparel
I give to my son John Turner Witcomb the rest of my household goods
I give to my daughter in law Rebecca Jones wife of William Jones and daughter of my late husband Samuel Witcombe the sum of 20 shillings
I give to Stephen Jones the son of William Jones 5 pounds to be paid when he reaches the age of 21 years in addition to the legacy left him by my late husband
To my daughter in law Hannah wife of Richard Stancomb the sum of 3 pounds
To my daughter in law Ann wife of James ?? one shilling
The Will concludes by bestowing the rest of her goods and chattels to her son John Turner Witcomb and her daughter Mary Oldham and makes them her joint executors.
