Elizabeth Cox was buried 17690502, when she was described as 'aged 39 servant of William Savage'. She appears to be the daughter of Samuel and Bridget, baptised 1728.

Edward Cox and Hannah Herbert declare they are the brother and sister of Beata Cox, spinster, now deceased.

James Cox baptised his daughter Lucy 17180921, buried a child on 17210619, and buried his wife Mary on 17230121, after she died of Smallpox. He is not mentioned again.

James Cox 17280704, son of John, married 17520722 to Anne Stokes, possibly the daughter of John baptised 17350911. They baptised Elizabeth 17521119-17530130 lived 10 weeks, Mary 17531202, Elizabeth 17560808, Jenny 17600409, Ann 17630110, John 17650505, Margaret 17680320-17691001 baptised aged 9 months and lived 19 months, and Thomas 17710910.
There are no further mentions of this family - did they leave Tetbury about 1772?

John Cox and his wife on 30 March 1709, reference P328a OV 7/23 were judged sick and in want of relief, the Tetbury Overseers were ordered to pay one shilling and six pence a week towards their maintenance until further notice.

They baptised Thomas 17360928-86, John 17390808, Luke 17420620 lived 3 months, Mary 17440716 - 17800821 aged 36, Mark 17460717, Lucy 17490316, Matthew 17510217, Luke 17521213 - 17540702 lived 19 months, William 17551105 and Robert 17580901 -17630706 lived 4 years.

Mark Cox, Mary his wife and Richard his son aged seven weeks, should be returned to Tetbury, the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor at Avening made a Removal Order on 4 Feb 1773 reference P328a OV 3/3/1

Mary Cox baptised her base son, Thomas Gibson on 17130418. He appears to be the Thomas Cox buried 17180210.

Mary Cox married 17231223 to William Constable. They buried a son William 1731, and Mary was buried 17460117.

Matthew Cox 17251106, son of John, married 17480501 to Sarah Manning, daughter of William baptised 17271101 - 17681121 aged 41, and baptised Samuel 17480825, Betty 17500610 -17610322 died of Small Pox aged 10, William 17530204, Sarah 17560111, Mary 17590812 and Ann 17680405 whose mother was buried 17681112 and then Ann was buried 17690218 aged 10 months.

Richard Cox baptised Edith 17651103, and William 17700604, who was buried six weeks later, on 17700727. Margaret and Mary were baptised 27 Oct 1776, could be twins.

Samuel Cox, 1698 - 17320123 aged 33, married 17201117 to Bridget Herbert 1697 - 17371204 aged 40. Their children are Elizabeth 17240125, John 17260127 lived 3 weeks, and Henry 17280418.

Samuel Cox, of Wick a Militia man, was buried 17610122. He died of Smallpox.

William Coxe, his wife Diana, children William 11 yrs, Mary 5, Sarah 3 and John infant were found in want by the Overseers of Avening, and they applied to Tetbury to come and get them, reference P328a OV 3/2/1 dated 02-Dec 1776

William Cox and his wife Elizabeth (named on one of the children's burials), baptised Mary 1 March 1772, Sarah 19 Dec 1773 but can't find her burial, Sarah 11 Sept 1774 - 2 Feb 1775 lived 5 months, Samuel 10 Dec 1775 and John 30 June 1776, and buried Thomas 17790325, Abraham 17850328 and Richard 17851004
