Under Oath Elizabeth stated they are sisters, and have been maintained and provided for in the Workhouse of the parish of Tetbury, and that they absconded from said Workhouse on Sunday 25th day of August last. Reference P328a OV 3/5/1 dated 9 Sept 1799 is a complaint by Henley upon Thames, Oxfordshire to Tetbury

Sarah and Mary, Daughters of Joshua Thorp, M.D. and Rebecca, his wife, are here interred Sarah died Jan 24, 1739 Mary died Sept 26, 1738.
