When I began my affair with running in 1998, I did not know where it would
end up taking me. I just knew that I needed to make a commitment to do something positive, and
set an example for my family, friends and peers, and develop a positive and healthy lifestyle. I'm not
necessarily psycho about winning, I just want to do as well as I can and have some fun. I enjoy the
competition and just doing my best without regard to my age.
