| The story of the collaboration with Damien & Robbie _______________________________________________________________________ 19th March 2005 More gigs for WA people. Further news from our WA friend - "Keep an eye out for them if they come your way coz it's pretty darn tight little group ("The Damien Cripps Band") they have there and I think their single 'Pictures' will be a bit of a hit." 11th March 2005 Lucky WA people. Erik made an appearance on a radio station, played live acoustically over the airwaves, and did a little interview. A report from a good friend in WA tells me that Erik mentioned that he and Damien Cripps and Robbie James (Gangajang) were going to release some ORIGINAL material and showcase it at the March gigs. It's a collaboration. I'm sure Eric and Robbie James SHOULD do some solo stuff while here in WA. Thanks Shaz for all the phone calls, emails, etc. :) _______________________________________________________________________ February 2005 Gigs - Steve B. has been working on organising Erik to appear at an "Idols of the 80s" concert in Canberra since December 2004 - there is a date in April, but venue and final details to be confirmed and advised. | April 2005 * Some informal candid photos added Get your copy of the new single "Pictures" from the Damien Cripps Band with Special Guests Erik Weideman and Robert James. Visit Thumper Universal Management! As you will all have copies of the CD yourselves very soon, if you could hassle your favourite radio station and let them know what a great song it is and you would like to hear it on the radio waves regularly. Thumper are doing this project independently so we need all the help we can get. Radio Stations wont play it but its good to get in there ears a little and tell them what the people want to hear.
