Green light illuminated a field, and when it receded, Deborah, holding the leaf, was there. The sun was shining pleasantly, and a few cotton white clouds dotted the sky. Deborah sighed in contentment and stretched her arms over her head.

"Ah, at least it's not raining here!" She said, her good sprits restored.

A ways away, Deborah could see the roof of her little halfway house. A short walk brought her to it. Once inside, Deborah shed her human clothes, and put on lose fitting forest clothing. Using a leather ribbon, she tied her dark gold hair up, out of her face.

Once that was done, she hurried outside and took of at a quick pace towards the Forest. Ten minuets later, she reached the edge of the Forest. Waiting there for her, was Fae, the elven Keeper and Guardian of the Forest. Fae had long blue hair streeked with green. Skyblue eyes matched her hair perfectly. She wore forest clothing, a little different from Deborah's.

"Deborah! Hi! I wasn't expecting you to make it today."

"Yeah, me either. Luck was kind today." Deborah said. "Now," she said, rubbing her hands together. "Lets get started! I want to see them all today!" Fae nodded, and with her magic, opened a gateway to the first dragon living there, Skysong.

Several hours later, Deborah came back to the field that searved as the entrence to the Forest. Fae was waiting there, an excited expression on her face. Deborah was grinning ear to ear when she came out, but it grew when she saw Fae.

"Hello Fae... Why so excited?" She asked causously.

"Oh, well, I will tell you in a minuet. So how was your visit with  your bondmates?"

"Great! All of them are doing good. Now, tell me, whats going on!" Fae giggled, enjoying Deborah's encreasing distressed.

"Well, Desiree just stoped by." Desiree was a long time friend of Deborah's, and also an adopter of dragons. After they had adopted several dragons each, they had opened their own adoption agency for a type of dragon they named
Darkelf Dragons. "She wanted me to give you this book. She said she would have come in, but had to get home. Her parents were going to be there any minuet."

"What book is it? Is it that fantasy one I asked to borrow?" Fae laughed, and held out the book.

"No, its a book on Bishen dragons, so that you will have enough information to make a home."

"Why would I make a home, they arn't having a clutch for a while right?"

"Actually, Desiree said that her dragon Kashi and his mate Juliette are having a clutch soon."

"Yes!" Deborah shouted, and did a little leap in the air. "So excited! I have been waiting forever for Bishen to have another clutch! And since it is from Desiree's Kashi, that makes it even more special!"

"Ah, Deborah, it hasn't been forever. And you asume that you will be accepted to care for an egg. You don't even have a home ready yet."

"Oh! Thats a good point. Oh dear, I don't know anything about Bishen." Fae laughed again.

"Yeah, Desiree figured that, so she gave me this book to give to you. It is all about the Bishen." Fae handed the hard bound book to Deborah.

"Thanks Fae. I'll thank Desiree when I see her next. It's getting late, so I will see you tomorow." Deborah smiled and waved as she walked back to the half way house.
