This
page could have been endless long, but that's a lot of job for me,
and I suppose quite boring for you. I just give you a list of some
of the places that I've been to, and a few words about my opinion of
the place. But you will get a better impression of travelling by
taking a look at my gallery......
Crete: Sun,
Knossos, drunken europeans on chartertrips, annoying restaurant
workers.
London:
Big, noisy, always something going on, Harrods, Big Ben,
Oxford Street, Madame Tusseaud's.
Berlin:
Brandenburger Tor, KaDeVe, Kurfürstendamm, Tiergarten, lots of pubs
and "Bierstuber."
Denmark is
a place where it's good to be Norwegian. Hmmm......
Finland:
Helsinki, big forests and lakes, Jukola-relay in orienteering,
nobody speaks english, drugged cross-country skiers
Netherlands:
Great canals and cities, The Floriade, wish I was older than 13
when I was there...
Czechian
republic: Prague, limestone cliffs, very cheap, wild boards in
the forest
Singapore:
Hot and humid, rainy, clean, felt beeing watched wherever i walked.
Malaysia:
Religous, a bit depressive, severe customs officers.
Thailand:
Fun in the sun, great nature, everything's cheap, friendly people,
overcrovded in the peak season.
Australia:
Tropical rainforests, burning hot deserts, snowcaped mountains,
stunning beachs and coastlines, friendly and relaxed people, Aussie
pubs, Norwegian standard for half the prize. A great place to live.....
New Zealand:
To bad I just had time to go to Auckland in such a beautiful country,
and that I was one month ahead of America Cup...
Fiji Islands:
"South Pacific ocean postcard islands", very
relaxed and friendly people, some places a "backpacker factory",
but if you look a bit around and make an extra effort it's worth it
all!
Hawaii:
Waikiki, Honolulu, Kilauea, Manua Kea, BIG waves, expensive, lots of
fat Americans!
New York:
Busy and sometimes very unfriendly people, stressing, lot of cracy
people, many stores and tall houses.
And as a little
plan for the summer, I look very forward to go to
Thailand with Annelie in July......
