Tired Iron? I Don't Think So!
Earth-moving and construction equipment has always been a fascination to me. And through my travels, I've been able to track down quite a few "vintage" pieces of equipment. Some I use regularly around the farm and elsewhere. Others are nice to have "just in case." And some were just bargains to good to pass up!
Below are some photos of various construction equipment I use regularly. A few additional pieces are in the Works In Progress section.
This Ford backhoe has been a workhorse for me for more than 20 years. I have used it to dig ponds, install waterlines and do just about everything around the farm.

Under wraps for the winter, this is a Allis Chalmers loader.
This Caterpillar D 6 9 U was the one under cover for so long. I finally let it out to see the light of day.
