"We just got back from Supai, Stunning...
"We were in Supai July 8-11. It was quite hot and humid. Being from Las Vegas we can handle the heat but we were not expecting the moist air. The hike down was no problem. We started very early in the morning so we could avoid the afternoon heat. The last mile was the worst, once we reached the water the air got very moist. We stayed in the Lodge as we are not big campers. The campground was quite beautiful with that beautiful blue-green water running through it. Our favorite waterfall was Havasu. The waterfall was stunning and the water temperature was perfect. Navajo and Mooney were colder to swim in. The water looked quite low compared to other photos I have seen. This left a nice area around the falls to lay in the spray of the falling water. Since the temperature was somewhere around 100 degrees the water spray felt wonderful. We decided that we did enough walking in and around Supai so we took horses out. A very nice young man named Fletcher brought us out. He was our age which made the hour and a half ride out fun. Even with saddle sore behinds and leather burns on our legs from wearing shorts, the ride out was worth not walking. It was warm and we were exhausted, I'm not sure we would have made it out."

Laura and Jared have sent in some recent pictures of the falls at Havasupai Indian Reservation. Since there is often flooding that changes the shape of the falls, these are the most recent pictures I have seen that depict the current "look" of the falls.
