Sniping
The most powerful weapon in PlanetSide on a shot for shot basis, dealing 75 Health Point damage per shot. This weapon kills in 2 shots from full health and can be used to pick off the injured at long range for a 1 shot kill. The down side to the Bolt-Driver is the slow fire rate, only holding a single bolt at a time, thus requiring a lengthy relod after every shot.

The Heavy Scout Rifle (HSR) is less powerful than the Bolt Driver, but it holds 10 shots in a clip and can refire much faster. Like the Bolt Driver it has a very long range, however it is more designed for medium range fights as the faster you fire the less accurate it gets. The HSR can be gained by getting the Sniping Certification or with the Two Year Term of Service merit.
