Description:
Allows a soldier to utilize the standard weaponry within PlanetSide, this inculdes Pistols, a Sub-Machinegun, Grenades (Frag, Jammer and Plasma), as well as empire specific Knifes Chainblade (TR), Mag-Cutter (NC), and Force-Blade (VS).

Note: This certification canont be removed.

  Medium Assault Cost 2 

Common Pool:   Punisher and Sweeper
Empire Specific:   Cycler (TR), Gauss (NC), and Pulsar(VS)
CoreCombat:   Spiker

Description:
The empire specific weaponry within this certification are designed mainly for outdoor, medium to long range fire fights. Where as the Sweeper is mainly for close range fights and the Punisher a good all round weapon. The Spiker, favored by Cloakers for its high damage and Pistol size.

  Anti-Vehicular Cost 3 

Common Pool:   Decimator
Empire Specific:   Striker (TR), Phoenix (NC), and Lancer (VS)

Description:
The Decimator, a disposable, 3-shot dumb-fire rocket launcher that packs significant anti-vehicular damage behind each warhead. The Striker anti-vehicular missile system has a dual-natured firing system. In dumb fire mode it is capable of firing its warheads in fairly quick succession. When the operator is using its lock on mode, he can paint a object and the warheads will travel to that target at high speed. Lancer fires a highly energized projectile that travels at lethally quick speeds. This coupled with the direct-fire nature of the VS Lancer gives it the ability to tear through vehicles efficiently at all ranges. The NC Phoenix has a camera-guided delivery system allowing the skillful operator to waste no time in trying to achieve a lock on. The operator can also choose to detonate the warhead in-flight in situations where he misses the intended target.

  Heavy Assault Cost 4 

Empire Specific:   Mini-Chaingun (TR), Jackhammer (NC), and Lasher (VS)
CoreCombat:   Maelstrom

Description:
The Mini-Chaingun, the fastest firing of all Empire Specific Weaponry packs a huge 100 ammo, firing 8.71 shots a second and is good at all ranges. The Lasher has dual AI and AV enegy ammo and features a unique 'lash and splash' damage meaning you can slighty miss but still damage your enemy. The Jack Hammer features two fire modes, a single or triple shot, the triple shot is capable of taking down a Rexo user at very close range with just one pull of the trigger. The Maelstrom, only available with the CoreCombat upgrade has dual firing modes, the Vortex Whip and Chain-Lash Grenade.

  Sniping Cost 3 

Common Pool:   Bolt Driver and Heavy Scout Rifle

Description:
The Bolt Driver sniper rifle, equipped with an 8x Zoom and the most stopping power behind each bullet, the Bolt Driver has the ability to wage war over great distances. The Heavy Scout Rifle is a semi automatic rifle suited for medium ranges (Also available with the Two Year Term of Service merit).

  Special Assault Cost 3 

Common Pool:   Rocklet and Thumper
CoreCombat   Radiator

Description:
The Rocklet Gun is a mini-rocket gun that is versatile against soldier and vehicles alike. The Thumper is a grenade launcher capable of using Plasma, Frag and Jammer Grenades thus making it very versatile in its own right. The Radiator has a slow burn that can go through vehicle armour and hit the driver and passengers within, although passing through a single Radiator bubble will not cause much damage, used in mass they can be deadly.
