| Please contact me and tell me your story and how you were able to resove it or if you are in the middle of it right now. I am a firm believer of Jesus Christ, therefore, it is not for me to judge your situtation. I just want to know about other stories that are out there and how you are handling them. Please do not disclose any names of children (first and last) for their protection. I pray that we can put a stop to the vigilatism of the registry and that we can learn from eachother in how to do this. | April 24, 2005. Updates... I went to court on April 15, 2005. They are finally agreeing to an ICPC, something that we requested about 10 months ago. I guess it took me writing state officials and other lawyers getting involved, the threat of media coverage and many other things. We are also in the process of trying to get certain test to prove my fight. I am finally in a position that I can better pay for these test out of my pocket than to wait for the state to do something about this on their end when they should have done this to start with. However, their fight was that my husband and I divorce because they think that our relationship is unstable because of the way that we met. If anyone is going to make the decision of whether I should stay with my husband, it should be ME! I hope that this web page will find others that may be experiencing similar situations and that together we can stop the damages that are being done to our families, perhaps we can eventually get the government to categorize offenders like they do murders instead of looking at all of them in the same way. Please continue to check this page for updates. |
| July 26, 2005 The disclaimer for the Registry is a joke. We were able to contact a lawyer about trying to press charges against this issue and he said that it would be a battle that would not be worth getting into, so apparently people can go around and harrass RSO's and get by with it, even if it affects the entire family of that RSO. I want to know why there are not laws out there that are better written to protect families and children against people that think that they know everything. For example: I got a visit this moring from a few detectives trying to locate my husband. They said that a citizen from the "other" state had made a claim/report saying that my husband was there stalking and harassing them. I was there a couple of weeks ago, but my husband did not come with me. He has proof and witnesses of this. I understand that the detectives were just doing their job and I appreciate that they were able to follow through with it so quickly. However.... enough is enough... Another interest thing that is going on is that the ICPC has accepted my mom in law as a receiving party to house my daughter while they figure out if we are fit parents or not. However the dismissing state is making the receiving state go through a lot of red tape, questions, legalities, and now finger printing for the FBI to do investigations even though they pasted the local and state background checks without as much as a parking ticket. What more do they want? We just want our child with family while we continue to jump through what ever hoops that they want us to. I am still convienced that they want us to be forced apart. That we should divorce. I believe that that is the final out come that they want of this and that they will not stop until we give up on eachother, which will not happen. I believe that families are worth fighting for, no matter how hard it gets. |
