| Junior Thesis United States History Outline of Dates Due Monday, October 20, 2008 � Introduction to the Thesis Paper. Review of due dates and bibliography. Thursday, October 23, 2008 � Topic for your thesis paper due. Make sure that you know enough about the subject so you can discuss it with me on this date. Monday, November 10, 2008 � One paragraph description of paper, 5 references and 4 pages of notes due. You do not have to write your notes in complete sentences BUT you do have to cite where you got your information. By doing this now, you won�t have to go back later and search for where you found your facts. Friday, December 5, 2008 � Rough outline (1-2 pages). This outline should have your thesis statement and main topics of your paper. In addition, you should now have 10 pages of notes. Friday, January 9, 2009 � Detailed outline and 15-20 pages of notes. In your outline, your main ideas should be in complete sentences. Make sure that you have enough evidence to support your main ideas. Monday, January 26, 2009 � Rough draft of your paper is due. It will be edited and then returned to you for your final draft. Feb. 11-15, 2009 � Final draft due. |
