JP: Institute Tour It all starts with a neat little intro featuring the sound of approaching footstep tremors to reveal…no not a Tyrannosaur but a raptor (apparently they weigh several tons now) trying to escape its cage. Entering the game you have the choice of playing 5 different games and depending on how well you do in each game you win photos to view in the gallery (comprised of various scenes from all three Jurassic films that you can easily find online). During the first few seconds of game play you'll be asking yourself "This is it?!, I'm not a 2 year old!" then you try some of the other games but they get the same basic reaction. But like other famous games based on simplicity like "Tetris" you start to get the addiction trying to outdo yourself and prove you could beat this kiddy game in an hour, then it gets interesting when the games start to get a little more difficult, such as a greater number of dinosaurs to dodge while escaping to a helicopter. All in all it's a neat little game but I would have expected it to be featured on a cell phone let alone a Gameboy Advance, the music's catchy though. (Only released in Japan so far)

TRAILER 2

JP: Operation Genesis is much more than an upgrade of the gameboy game JP3:Parkbuilder. Genesis is one of the rare few JP video games that focuses more on gameplay than visual appeal (though OG does have some of the best dinosaurian graphics I've ever seen in a game before). Unlike other simulation games such as RollerCoaster Tycoon, OG is in complete 3-D and has game missions such as tracking down loose dinosaurs in helicopters or photographing the various dino exhibits. 10 original muscial tracks as well as 2 tracks straight from the movies are featured as well as movie realistic dino sound effects. The game features 25 different dinosaurs and various characters from the first Jurassic film and the ability to run the original Jurassic Park. (Availible for PC,X-box,PS2 and Gamecube)

ROMS

An assortment of Jurassic Park video games were released for the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Sega Game Gear and Gameboy. One of the best was Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition for the Sega Genesis, the game had really good control and the weapons are also a plus, especially since you don't have to charge up the electric gun. You can choose to play as Alan Grant(easy) or a Raptor(hard). After beating the game for the first time as Alan Grant you'll be able to beat it in at least 20 minutes every other time, but if you play as a Raptor, it's a different story

Jurassic Park 3:Island Attack For GBA, You have been stranded on Isla Sorna by an Ill-fated airplane accident during an airborne observation. In this jungle infested with ferocious carnivorous dinosaurs, you cannot risk making even the slightest careless move. The only source of information you have is from someone on the other side of your wireless transmitter radio. Explore the island in search for weapons and equipment and try to make your way to the other side of the island where a rescue helicopter is waiting for you.

Primal Prey: For PC, It's dinosaur hunting time! Imagine travelling back in time to track down and bring back these feared and legendary beasts. The missions increase in both difficulty and danger as you progress - fortunately so does your firepower. Many different missions to conquer and very realistic dinosaur movement and behavior means you'll have to bag your prey before it bags you!

Trespasser: For PC) A year after the events of "The Lost World," the Site B Island lies in ruins. InGen's dream of reviving the dinosaurs is dead. John Hammond publishes a memoir, a history of the InGen Corporation, but no one is quite sure whether to believe it. The island is half news story, half urban legend. In a freak accident, your plane crashes in the waters near Costa Rica. You awaken on a beautiful sandy beach, on a tropical island. But you are beginning to realize this island is not what it seems -the accident that brought down InGen preserved the island. It holds danger, but it also holds secrets about the past.

Jurassic Park 3: Survival supposedly takes place on Isla Sorna and you play a employee of Ingen (I've heard its a security personnal), and you try to get off the island. This game is for the PS2, and so far the graphic look really good, it's supposed to come out in November. (UPDATE: this game has been canceled due to money problems)

The Lost World for Playstation is a side scrolling adventure game where you climb the food chain on Isla Sorna, from a chicken sized Procompsognathus to a Human hunter to a Velociraptor to a Tyrannosaurus rex to Human prey. One of the coolest things in the game, is being able to eat other animals and people in the game, if your a dinosaur. (it is especially cool, when your a T-rex, because you can swallow most animals whole).

DINO LIST (INCLUDES LOCATIONS)

Jurassic Park 3: Park Builder for the Gameboy Advanced is a very innovative game. You can build and run your own Jurassic Park, and clone up to 140 different species of dinosaurs (not all are actual dinosaurs, like Pteranodons and Plesiosaurs...etc.) from DNA you find when excavating different areas of the world, each species has it's own life-like picture and brief info on how the species is catergorized and what time period it existed in. You have to know your dinosaurs, or they may end up eating one another if you put the wrong types together in the same pen. Other need features include natural disasters like earthquakes and hurricanes that occur during the game, which may cost you money if you don't fix things affected by the disaster, such as boulders blocking roadways or buildings. I have just gotten the game and it is really cool!
