Notable Accomplishments and Recognition

• Judge Sarah Tilghman Hughes, Psi-Goucher, was the judge who gave the oath of office to President Lyndon B. Johnson in Dallas, TX.
• Mary Katherine Scarborough Scheeler, Psi-Goucher, is presently a member of the Baltimore County School Board. She is also a lawyer and once had a TV show.

Interesting Historical Information

The last meeting of Psi - Goucher and Psi Omicron was held April 12, 1950. there were twently-two 50 year members present. Goucher trustees decided there was no place on campus for fraternities, so they went out in June 1950. Their charter was granted in April 1891 and was the 11th Delta Gamma collegiate chapter, officially installed May 22, 1891.
