Morgaine put a spell on Arthur's sword Excalibur to protect him. But took his sheath from him when he failed to keep his promise to the Goddess which led to his downfall. March 11 - Hey peoples. Spring's right around the corner. I can't WAIT. I want summer here NOW. Anyway, Senior Banquet's tomorrow night. That should be fun. Going shopping tomorrow for a little while for something to wear. Yeah, school's a NO tomorrow.

December 28 - Hello hello luv, what's good. I'm kinda bored w/the site. It needs new stuff. It's the same old things, but I can't really think of what else to do with it so we'll just leave it for now. I hope everyone's Christmas was good :)  Mine was okay. My Christmas Eve was good. For full detail check out my real journal ^Tortuga. Going to see Peter Pan tomorrow, *yay*. Can't wait. Went to the city yesterday with my friend Paula which was cool. All the infos in my journal. Comment on stuff I should add cause I have no idea what to do w/this NEmore.

December 3 - I was perusing around and I figured I should update my little jouranl here even thought the link above is much more updated!! It's been almost two whole months since I updated this little journal thingy, which is okay I suppose, considering. Lots of college apps I've been doing and I still have more to do. I figure I'll get done by next week, HOPEFULLY. There's not too much to say here except that I'm gonna update the fanlisting and funny quotes section cause that's all I do around here, lol. I've been having a really good time senior year, a LOT better then last year. So much more fun, more friends, less work, etc. It's all updated in the LINK ^ RIGHT ABOVE if you care to see :)

October 5 - Hello everyone. Another month has passed, incredibly. I have a new journal so I actually update their more. It's a REAL journal - not like this little site thrown together randomly. ;) No time to write right now though. I've got a lot of HW

September 11 - I love you New York. I'm proud to live here and I just wanted to remember for a moment the fateful day two years ago. Thank you to all the men & women who gave their lives and services for the country. To all the firemen, policemen, & medical workers. To all the volunteers. To all the people who gave blood donations. To all the courageous men and women of Flight 93. To all the victims' families, may you find closure and peace. To the U.S. military for serving our country in Afghanistan & Iraq in times of war. To Great Britain, who has always remained by our side. I remember that horrible day. I know it affected so many people all across our nation, but through the chaos and turmoil: we pulled closer together than ever before. We were unified, making our bond stronger.  I just wanted to say that. I love the United States, but most of all, I love New York.

August 10 - I'm back, I'm back . . . unfortunately. I had such an amazing time. It was the most unbelievable time I've had in my entire life I think. I love everyone I went with, they were the best group a person could ever ask for. Katie, Katy, Sam Dosch, April, Jackie, Tanya, Anne, Mary Beth, Colleen, Nicole, Allison, Tim, Joe, Sabrina, Elissa, Jen, and everyone else - I love you guys so much. Miss ya. I wanna get my pix developed like immediately, but I have like 15 rolls so . . . it'll be a while. Can't wait, though. I was a little tired yesterday after we got back from Kennedy and then I went to my cousin's 21st b-day party. I have to say that I just had the most amazing time. Abseiling off of a castle was one of the most memorable experiences . . . then again partying with scottish boys was always pretty cool . . . and learning how to play hurling and running through a bog after learning an Irish dance was absolutely amazing. I loved the trip so much. I miss my friends. I miss the long trips on the bus. I miss having breakfast, lunch, & dinner with 39 other people. I miss having to wash my clothes in the sink in the hotels. I miss Colleen & Katy's biting. I miss Emily's "Bums on seats". I miss Brandon's "Cheers". I miss Alexz's "32!". I miss Jordan's "One time, one time." I miss Tim's "Whoa". I miss Joe's Bill Clinton impersonation. I miss Jackie, April, & Tanya's laugh. I miss Kendra & Brendan's spats. I miss Lara's "Shu-u-u-p". I miss Katie's freakish potato chip phobia. I miss the castles. I miss sharing CDs. I miss trudging through a bog. I miss the wake-up calls. I miss our trek from hotel to hotel. I miss having new roommates. I miss playing cards every night. I miss lunches that consisted of two pieces of lettuce and half a tomato. I miss hurling and rounders. But most of all, I miss my 34 brothers & sisters. I love you guys.

July 18 - In 2 days, I'll be on my way to London. I can't wait. My buddies and I are gonna have a great time. This is my last "chill out" day. Tomorrow, I'm going to the beach in the morning and then a party @ night. It's gonna be great. Then on Sunday - London! I'm gonna take tons of pictures. I love taking pictures. Ciao!

July 10 - Lord almighty. Orlando Bloom has to be the most gorgeous man alive. I just saw Pirates of the Caribbean, and man oh man: he is positively delectable. That's my new favorite movie. And Johnny Depp was amazing. He is such a good actor. I loved his character: Captain Jack Sparrow - he was fantastic. To bad Keira Knightly had to kiss Orlando. It really ruined the whole movie-going experience. I have to go see that movie again. It was absolutely amazing - I loved it.

July 9 - Wow, only 11 days until I got to Europe. I'm excited. I just can't believe my luck. Summer seems to be going a little too fast. I mean, in two months: school starts all over. Then again, it's a whole two months, so . . .  Anyway, Pirates of the Caribbean comes out today!! OMG - I want to see that so badly. Orlando Bloom *hottie*.  One of the girls I work with tried to drown another girl that I work with. No names, just for their own privacy. Well, yeah. Girl One tried to drown Girl Two because of a guy. I dunno, man. It's crazy.

June 30 - Hey all. Enjoying my summer vacation, that's all I'm sayin. It's thundering outside, yet it's not raining. I just finished reading Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire, which I think was poorly titled, but nonetheless a good read. I know, I know, I'm behind on the times, the Order of the Phoenix recently came out and I'm just about to start that. Can't wait. I wonder what's up with Lord Voldemort and all that. ;)

June 1 - OMG. It's June. Thank you Lord. That means that school's almost over. Only 2 weeks and then finals. *sigh*  I'm at the finish line.  End of junior year. I can't wait.  Oh, and get this: not only is my family Colombian, but my cousin's gonna marry an Arab. Not only will we have druglords in the family, but terrorits too. LOL. I'm just kidding.  But she really is marrying the guy, but I hear he's really great. So it's all good. ;)

May 31 - I'm feeling pretty good right about now.  Yesterday my friends Paula, Nick, John, Melissa, & Mieka and I went to the movies. We had so much fun. I even accidentally walked into the guy's bathroom. They didn't even have a couch. LOL. We saw The Italian Job & Bruce Almighty. Good movies. OMG!! I forgot to say that I went to the TRL Beach House on Thursday and saw Michelle Branch & Mark Wahlberg!! It was great. I went with Jen, Steven, Paige, & Danielle.  Michelle Branch performed live and I was right near the stage!! We got a picture with Quddus too. Carson & Damion were pretty hot too. And today I went to see Finding Nemo - it was really adorable. Too many kids there though.

May 25 - Well, well. It's Fleet Week in NYC. In case you don't know what that is, it's when the marines station their boats in Manhattan over Memorial Day weekend. I went last Friday and I gotta tell ya, those marines are major hotties. One of our tour guides was absolutely gorgeous. The boats were incredible - they're really intricate. The life-boats look like barrels, but in fact they can hold up to 25 people and carry 5 days worth of food and 3 days worth of water. The life-boat has this process of osmosis that can produce water which is why it only has 3 days worth of water.  It was a really great experince, good times. I recommend going.  Then we went to South Street Seaport for dinner. I had a wondeful time all in all. And yesterday I got hit on at work by a customer, so it just made my day ; )
However, my mother's not being the most agreeable person today. Then again, she's never the most agreeable person. We were supposed to see Bruce Almightly today until we got into an argument in the car and she decides we're not going anymore.  Which in reality is not a big loss for me cause I get into the movies for free, so I see a movie whenever the hell I feel like it. But NEwayz she decides to go see the movie with my brother instead. So I'm here, a little heated, trying not scream at the top of my lungs.

May 20 - Matrix Reloaded was da bomb. Off the freakin hook. Trinity with that scorpion kick, that was hot.  Neo is, of course, the best thing ever. He's so goddamn gorgeous. I can't believe the movie left off like that. Gonna have to check out Matrix Revolutions. This is gonna be like the Godfather of the future - this movie rox. Check it.

May 10 - I saw X-Men 2!! It was great. Lots of the characters from the original series. Some people thought it was too many characters but if you're not true fan you don't really know what happened to Jean Grey at the end. Tsk, tsk. Go see it!! Colossus was in it! And Dr. Henry McCoy, Pyro, etc.

April 20 - I feel pretty, oh so pretty. I feel pretty and witty and briiiiiight. LOL. I saw Anger Management a couple of days ago. It was really funny, I loved it. I loved that part when they were on the bridge and Sandler & Nicholson were singing that song.  That was classic, pure genius. I'm recommending this movie to everyone.

April 16 - Hey, hey. I'm feeling pretty good today. Vacation officially started this afternoon. A week and a half off from the prison.  I had to stay after school until 6:30 yesterday! Not so much fun, but my friend Mike gave me a ride home. That was cool. He told me he ran over a racoon the other day - pretty gross.

April 10 - Ever wonder what it feels like to be betrayed? Yeah, well I found out today. It's not fun.  I'm not gonna go into details, but let me just tell you that I wanted to rip her head off and feed it to the dog. I can't even look at her anymore, she's dead to me now. She was supposed to be my friend. Those are hard to find nowadays. I'm so POed at her, but I'm kinda sad too.

April 1 - I'm still here! No, I didn't vanish, there's just been a lot of stuff going on. For one, we're at war and Britain is over there helping us. Personally, I've been really busy, so I haven't really had a chance to update.  I added a whole bunch of people to the People of the World List - it keeps getting longer! I have a new computer, it's black and beautiful. I saw
Chicago a while back, I loved it. It was a great movie. I'm usually not into musicals, but this one was really off the hook.  No more Orlando Bloom obsession, at least for now. He's still a major hottie, but I'm not obsessed anymore.  I've been watching Late Night w/Conan O'Brien and The Daily Show a lot recently. I love them, Jon and Conan are hilarious, they make my day.

February 10 - I saw
Shanghai Knights the other day. It was hilarious, just as good as the 1st one. I loved it. Did you watch Secretary of State Colin Powell's speech on the War on Terrorism? VERY convincing speech if I may say so. But countries like France could be bombed by Iraq and still find an excuse not to join the war. I feel kinda bad for Tony Blair, he's probably the only Briton in the UK supporting us.  But I give the man props and I thank him for his support.  Truthfully speaking, Britain needs the US just as much as we need them. The US used to be part of Britain & if they don't support us, they're just sore. Speaking of wars & such, a house not to far from here has a Confederate flag hanging from their house. A CONFEDERATE flag on Long Island, from a war over a 100 years ago that signifies racism & the separation of the Union. I'm not too sure how much foreigners know about the American Revolution or the Civil War so if anybody needs me to explain anything, just ask.  By the way, we had early dismissal today and a Snow Day last Friday - that's pretty sweet.

February 1 - I changed the heading.  Yup, just do give it a little more flavor.  So there's Trinity & Neo from The Matrix, Rogue from the X-Men; a soccer ball; Shakira; Orlando Bloom; a Kim Anderson photograph faded in the back with the World Trade Center; & a Good Charlotte and Alanis Morissette logo. I wanted to add more stuff but I didn't want to make it too crowded.  I heard that the space shuttle Columbia disintegrated over Texas this morning killing all 7 crew members. It's a sad day today.

January 28 - Well,
today was a total waste of make-up. It is so freaking cold it's not even funny.  Saw The Matrix for the 2nd time, Keanu Reeves is pretty hot when he wants to be.  I added him to my Tribute to Guys section. Hugo Weaving is such a great actor. So it's Regents week here in New York. I took my English Regents today & yesterday.  Oh yeah, that was a lot of fun. I haven't had that much fun since the last time I ate a lightbulb.  Anywayz, I got the new Good Charlotte CD: the Young & the Hopeless. It is really good, I recommend it. I added them to my Music Scene List along with Alanis Morissette. There's some new things in the "Funny Stuff" section.

January 16 - Hey there I went to see
Gangs of New York a week ago. And I have to say I didn't really  like it.  It was drawn out and there was no sentimental attachment to any of the characters.  It could have been better. I'm eating sliced peaches - I know you were just dying to know.  It's a little, um . . . you know freezing.  Yeah, it's only been below freezing point this entire week. I saw Bernie Mac yesterday, that show is hilarious.  I have this little problem with falling in "love". My friend has diagnosed me with being "boy-crazy".  It's a technical term, you see. So from now on, I have stopped using the word "love" and use the word "lust" to describe any hot guys out there.  So, I lust Orlando Bloom. See how nicely that works?

January 3 - Ciao! Come stanno?  Orlando Bloom is so wonderful.  *sigh*  Anyway, I saw
Two Weeks Notice and Catch Me If You Can today.  They were both pretty good.  Leonardo Dicaprio is a charmer. I wanted to see Gangs of New York.  How can you be from NY and not watch it?  I think I'll see it on Sunday.  I forgot where I got the following bumper sticker from.  So, if you're the owner, just e-mail me and I'll link it back to you.  I want to be an elf. It's just not fair. I need more stuff on this site, but nobody gives me any ideas.  Okay, I'll be going now.

January 1, 2003 - Happy friggin New Year.  I feel sick. Too much partying, there's always regret the day after.  I had to work today.  WORK - on New Year's Day. On the plus side, I did see The Two Towers again with my friend, Paula.  Yeah, so my new year's resolution?  To stop being a  . . . oh, I have to go now.  Later.

December 24 - Happy Christmas.  Well, I saw Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers - it was only the best movie EVER!  It was great, and Legolas was so incredibly hot.  Eomer was awesome - he's so cool.  Faramir was pretty cool too, but they didn't show enough of them. Aragorn's getting to like Eowyn a little too much.  She's pretty though, be we all know he's in love with Arwen.  Well, Haldir was our fallen hero in this movie - sort of like Boromir in the last movie. Helm's Deep was amazing - it was so cool. Gollum is the ugliest creature I've seen in Middle-Earth  The Ents were pretty weird - but good for Merry! Standing up for what he believes in like that - very heroic.  Well, I'm going to party today, Christmas Eve.

December 13 - Feeling a little better today.  I'm freezing, but I'm in love so it's all good.  I was at my cousins house the other day. His girlfriend and he argue all the time: "You dont pay enough attention to me, Doug, you dont pay attention anymore. You dont listen ". "Huh?"  "See, thats what Im talking about.  You dont listen! You have Attention Deficit Disorder." "Whoa! You can attack my character but dont inflict me with a medical disorder."  "No, and you know what?  One day youre going to get Alzheimers Disease." "So now Im ADD and AD. Im a robot now, A2D2? Make up your mind.  No, you know what?  Youre not gonna win this time. No! I cant get Alzheimers if I already have Attention Deficit Disorder."  "Well, why not?" "How can I forget stuff if I never paid attention to it in the first place?"  Yeah, that's what their conversations mainly consist of.  TGIF.

December 11 - No jokes today.  I'm feeling kind of sad.

December 9 - Yeah, someone up there loves me.  And I'm still in love if you care to know.  So - it's cold, it's early, and it's Monday - can't get much worse than that.  School is so pointless - I sit in the back in most of my classes and try not to fall asleep.  It's b-o-r-i-n-g.  Then when I wake up my contacts are all messed up and I can't read the board.  That's the bad thing about contacts - I used to wear glasses back in the day.  You know what I used hate?  When people would come up to me and ask if they could try on my glasses.  Perfect strangers right off the street.  Thats inconceivable, why would you want to do that?  I dont go up to people with hairpieces and say, "Hey let me try on your wig." or go up to a old person and say, "Let me try on your respirator."

December 5 - Sup sup.  I cannot believe it.  I found out that cow-tipping is an actual form of amusement in the South & West.  I thought that was just some kind of sick joke.  Yeah, and the first Aussie filled out my People of the World Form.  How interesting.  Well, we were let out of school early today.  It's snowing pretty hard out today.  So I went to the eye doctor the other day, right?  Now, Ive always had bad vision. So anyway, the Doc says to me that one eye is worse than the other.  Im sitting there thinking "I dont remember overusing one eye."  And I fell in love today, actually Tuesday - but who's keeping track right? I added a tag-board to this little website here - and if I find any bad crap on it, believe you me - I'll be plenty mad.  If you're POed at something on this site, that is NOT the place to tell me.  Write me an e-mail, and if you really want to make it public,  don't you worry - I'll let the whole world know what you said.

December 4 - The French Revolution was neither French nor Revolutionary.  Go ahead and discuss, I'll be back later.

November 27 - First off - happy turkey day to all you people.  AND Happy Birthday to my friend Amrita, she's 16 today.   2nd order of business, I changed the name of my site.  Although the old URL will still work, I have a new URL:
ThereAndBackAgain.dot.nu I guess that's all for now - later.

November 26 - Guess what? I went to see SHAKIRA yesterday! Yup, I saw her at Nassau Coliseum - she rocked.  It was OFF THE HOOK!!  Without a doubt one of best concerts I've been to.  Of course, it wouldn't have been complete without someone being a total jerk, am I right?  So this lady was sitting behind me in Section 211, row B (I sat in row A).  And when Shakira came on stage my cousin and I flew out of our seats and danced like crazy.  The lady behind me had the nerve to tap me on the back and say, "Excuse me, I can't see."  and I said to her, "Uh, can you stand up? Because I'm not sitting down." And then I turned back around and stood up for the entire show shouting, dancing, and singing.  Guess what else? Antonio de la Rua was there! For those of you who don't follow - he's Shakira' boyfriend - AND he's Argentina's President's son. Yup.  There were so many Colombianos there!  Yes, yo soy Colombiana! My cousin and I brought our Colombian bandera (flag).  Before the concert started the entire auditorium was doing "the wave".  All the Colombianos were waving their flags like crazy, it must have been like half of the auditorium.  We chanted, "Oleeee, ole, ole, oleeee.  Oleeeeeee, Oleeeeeee."  I don't know if you know that or not, but we often chant it during soccer games and stuff.  Then we sang, "Co-lom-bia! Co-lom-bia!"  It was amazing - QUE VIVA COLOMBIA!!

November 15 - Let's talk people.  Let's talk about the orgin of America, after all - the first American was an immigrant.  The English say we're big fat dumbasses.  And the Canadians are jealous of the English/ American alliance and the Australians blame us for the crime.  So everything's just peachy.  First off, England sent the brain-washing, nonfashion-sensed Puritans to America - they just shoved them on a boat and kicked them over here, "Hey, have a good time on your cruise.  You go ahead and commit genocide on the natives over there - knock yourselves out.  Hey, why don't you go ahead and have a witch trial while you're at it?  Yeah, tell us how it turns out."  Typical of them to not bring any farm equipment, "Oh, I'm sure they'll be a shoppe there with a bit of tea."  Anyway, then they kicked a whole bunch of criminals over to Australia.after that.  Whoa, big punishment there.  A whole bunch of convicts headed toward a beach to live on an island of their own, "Let me get this straight?  I'm a convict and my punishment is to come here and live on this beach?"  and a whole shipload of convicts said, "Ah Yea!" - and a nation was born.

November 14 - White people really can't dance.  You know I'm right. Foreign girls can dance. You watch the girls in the Puerto Rican Day parade or Brazilian girls or the Jamaican ones shaking their hips like crazy.  It's like they've got a motor in there.  Ever seen Shakira, the Colombian singer? - man that girl can move.

November 8 - The newscasters say that the American people are too fat - apparently we're living in an "Obesity Epidemic". An epidemic. I can't wait to tell my grandkids about that. Little Johnny will say, "Whoa, Grandma, what was it like? How did you get through it?" And I'll say, "Oh, it was horrible Johnny. There were doughnuts and cheesecakes everywhere.

November 4 - Well, thanx a lot everyone.  My form was broken for the People of the World section and nobody felt like telling me.  It's nice to know I can count on someone.  Ivona from Poland was kind enough to make me check to make sure.  Thanks, Ivona.  So if anyone ever submitted anything from the People of the World form - I never got it. Don't think that I didn't want to put it up - I just never recieved it.  Oh, well.  I got the Spiderman DVD this weekend - that's a good movie.

November 1 -  Sup, sup.  My page looks kinda messed up.  Well, I gotta tell you. I got me my first angry guestbook entry.  Thank you, thank you. Hold your applause please.  Apparently some Canadians aren't over not having been included in the Revolutionary War - a little angry at Britain are we?  Tsk, tsk.  Well, I don't see Canada lining up to go to war with us - little old Britain over there has been supporting us a lot more.  And by "sister-country" I meant we are sort of "related" seeing as how England came over here way back when.  And just to clear things up - I never had or have anything against Canada.  But some people gotta start bringing in all the ruckus.  To all you Canadians - hey. What's going on up there? Alright then.

October 30 - Now that that's out of the way, let me tell you a little story.  I was in the city the other day right?  So there's about 60 cars in front of mine - okay - and the light turns green and the guy behind me just starts honking his horn.  Nobody's moving and this guy will not shut up.  So I turn around and stare at the guy right?  He keeps honking his horn like it's the most normal thing in the world - he's honking his horn at ME.  As if I drove the 60 cars that were ahead of me.  Right.  So we're not moving and the guy gets out of his car and starts yelling, "MOVE! JUST MOVE." So I say, "You know I would move.  But those cars in front,  seeing as how they're solid objects, I can't really do anything about that."  So he kept yelling and raving and carrying on. So I start yelling at the guy too - but about something completely irrelevant, "Fine! But you give me my hat back you jerk! Not until you give me my friggin hat man! Gettin' it all greasy wit cho' hair."  Then the guy looked at me, shut up, sat down, and locked his door.  That was the end of that.

October 25 - TGIF.  Hey ladies, guess what I got?  Look over to the right. Yup, that's right.  Me and Orlando - Orlando and me.  *Sigh*  What a cutie. I think I'll watch Lotr again - just to see him of course.  So school's a major drag as usual.  They think they caught that sniper in Washington D.C. this morning - hopefull they did.  My American History class was supposed to meet the Lt. Governor of New York today but she didn't come.  Oh well.  Nothing too interesting today.  My cousin bought tickets to Shakira - not sure if she's taking me yet.

October 18 -  TGIF. I saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding and White Oleander.  Care to see how they were?  Check out my movies section - when I get it up anyway.  So last night I was laying in bed looking up at the stars and I wondered, "Where the hell is my ceiling?"  Actually I was thinking, school really blows.  Physics is really starting to get to me.  It makes no sense.  I got a 79 on my last test - hey, at least I passed, right?  Math is as easy as pie . . . or pi.  Hey, how's this for any away  message: "Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler."  Someone used that on me and completely threw me off.

*Being from New York, I'd like to take this chance to show my respects to the NYPD and FDNY for there heroic efforts on 9/11.

This is a painting of the Roman goddess Diana (the Greek goddess Artemis).  She was Apollo's twin sister and was the goddess of the hunt and of the moon. I thought the painting was awesome so I decided to post it.
