FEATURES
Miecoboard (plain board) comes in standard sizes and has good machining,
insulation, and thermal conductivity. Miecoboard and its moisture
resistant (MUF) variant conforms to British Standard, BS 5669:1989.
The
first variation, which is Urea Formaldehyde, is formed with small wood
flakes, bonded with synthetic resin under extreme heat and pressure. Thus,
with global environmental health concerns in mind, Mieco has taken steps
to ensure that its raw materials are environmentally friendly. The wood
materials used in the production process is derived from Hevea (Rubberwood)
off-cuts, wood moldings, waste logs etc. This is obtained from a joint
partnership between Mieco Wood Resources Sdn Bhd and Smallholders
Development Corporation (SHDC).
ADVANTAGES
Miecoboard is easily laminated and has good machining, insulation and
thermal conductivity properties. It is ideal for furniture; speaker boxes,
fire doors and table tennis tables.
Besides that, the other variation of the Miecoboard range is the Melamine
Urea Formaldehyde (MUF) moisture resistant grade. This chipboard
variant has good elasticity and is moisture resistant. It is particular
suitable for use in kitchens.
