cement board used for construction of walls and ceilings. Due to its
versatility, it can be used throughout your building as a lining material for
wet areas as well as for dry areas. Flexboard offers the designer a wide range
of design possibilities for ceilings and external soffits. The ingenuous

4.Workability
The strength and flexibility of
Flexboard ensure excellent workability. No extra skills or special tools to
work with are needed. Flexboard is easy to nail, screw, drill and plane using
ordinary carpenter's tools. It can be beveled, V-cut and decorated with wall
paper and tiles. It can also be painted on to give Flexboard a classy finish.

Applications
Flexboard panels have a wide range of application and can be
classified by all means as multipurpose construction boards. Their main fields
of application however are partition and ceilings.
5.1. Wall Partitions
Combining Flexboard sheets with light metal studs to obtain non-load bearing
partitions is a dry work technique which is used world-wide. Without any doubt
this versatile construction system is so popular because of its simplicity and
therefore short installation time. Nevertheless, its characteristic are unbeaten
and meet the highest requirements. The system is so flexible that it can
overcome all difficulties of installation. It can also be used as a base for
tiling in wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, changing rooms and laundries.
5.2. Ceilings
Flexboard panels can be combined with several types of
profiles-systems to obtain a variety of suspended ceilings. These systems are
very simple and have short installation time. Their aesthetical and technical
characteristics can meet most requirements. Flexboard ceilings can withstand
high variations in temperature and humidity. It can be installed with flush
joint finish, V-cut finish, or even exposed grid (T-runner) ceilings. The
systems are so flexible that they can overcome all difficulties in detailing
