At 27 years old, Ridley Prescott has never known what it was to want for anything. Born the only child of oil mogul Cleaver Prescott, she has lived the life that many only dream of. She grew up on a huge estate outside of Abilene, Texas. But her life of fortunate didn't spoil Ridley.

Ridley's mother, Angelique, was from a poor up bring, born in the small coastal community of Areopoli, Greece. Cleaver indulged Ridley at every turn, but Angelique was there to keep her grounded, never allowing the tremendous amount of wealth to spoil her daughter.

Auburn shoulder length brown hair compliment the olive complexion and dark hazel eyes that she inherited from her mother. At 5'5", Ridley is shapely. A modest bossom and curvy hips bare strong resemblance to her mother's line along with a strong family loyalties and a driving dedication. But it was from her father that Ridley inherited her goodhearted sense of humor and kind smile.

At age 3, it was clear to Ridley's mother and father where her passions would lie in later life, horses. Ridley began to ride almost before she could walk. At age five, she entered her first riding competition held locally and won. But it didn't stop there. Driven by the her deep love for horses, Ridley trained nonstop through her youth and teenage years.

At age sixteen, Cleaver bought Ridley a jittery, yet breathtaking Palomino. The horse had been rescued from a ranch where the animal had suffered a great deal of abuse. Falling instantly in love with the animal, Ridley named the horse Storm, based in part on the cloud like white patches that lined the horse's dark gray coat.

Ridley spent years riding the rodeo circuit, taking home national honors at the Dodge National Championships on more than one occasion. At the same time, Ridley attended McMurry University in Abilene, obtaining a BS in Biology. Her intend was to become a Veterinarian.

But in late September 1999, a terrible accident during a competition left both Ridley and Storm unable to continue in Rodeo. It happened during a calf roping competition at the Texas Nationals. Ridley had pushed Storm a little too hard, worried about keeping her two point lead. A loose strap on her saddle caused Ridley to slip as Storm took a sharp corner. Clinging to the reigns to keep her balance, Storm lost footing confused by the mixed signals and went down hard. Ridley was thrown eleven feet in the air, only to be landed on by Storm as he feel hard to his side.

Several months of recovery and three plastic surgeons later, Ridley was up and walking. Her only signs of the accident are a long scar that runs across her forehead at the hairline and an occasional seizure that doctors believe are being caused by a pinched nerve in Ridley's spine. Storm also made a quick recovery, but due to pulled tendons in the horse's hind leg, he was ruled unracable.
