| The process of growth, in any capacity, has appealed to me. I've had...and continue to have individuals in my life that inspire me to become a better person, a better friend and a better teacher. The martial arts are no longer a means of warfare, at least for the most part. Intelligent and passionate teachers have, along the way, molded their students into artists. The art of Chen Style Xinyi Hunyuan Taijiquan, Chen Style Practical Method, Changquan (wushu), and even the system of Mixed Martial Arts/ Self Defense and Classical Fencing that I teach, teach you not to brutalize...but to develop and nurture internal strength (neigong), controlled focus (yi) and sportsmanship.
