| Introduction This program is designed for all leaders, managers, and professionals who want to improve the understanding of conflicts and the ability to deal with conflicts more constructively. The format will be interactive exercises with an emphasis on using effective tools, communication skills and theory principles you will need to prepare yourself to succeed in your professional, personal and educational goals. Goals By forming a learning-community environment in the class, participants will understand the principles of conflict by becoming aware of self emotion and cultural differences, and improve effective communication by applying facilitation and mediation skills in a group setting. Objectives - Identify self thinking and learning process - Recognize conflicts in your individual environments - Identify sources and development processes of conflict - Recognize cultural differences that contribute to (un)successful communication - Identify possible responses to conflict - Demonstrate various skills to approach a conflict constructively Instructional methods This program will feature large and small group discussion, skill practices, assessment and profiles, role plays and games. |
