I love the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping and stuff like that. I'm also an accomplished shot gunner, with several state Sporting Clays championships under my belt. I even placed in a national event several years ago. If I was independently wealthy, I would do nothing else but compete in shot gunning events.

Hunting is an activity I take seriously. My son and I have shared many days in the fields together. My daughters have gone with me also. Even if I don't harvest anything, just being outdoors is good enough for me.    

Motorcycles are another interest. I work on, ride and modify them. I even owned a motorcycle performance shop in the 70's and early 80's in Houston. They are a big part of my life. I use bikes as therapy; when I have a tough day a work, a quick ride will usually clear my head. My son enjoys them as much as I do, and he will be getting his own street bike real soon.

I am an amateur woodworker. I have several machine tools in my collection. I do my own home improvements when I have the time. My most memorable accomplishment is making raised panel kitchen cabinet doors for my kitchen. It took quite a bit of time to make each piece, fit them together and then paint the whole lot, including the kitchen. It gave me great satisfaction when I was finished.

I love to piddle around the house with home improvement projects. I laid tile floors in my entry hall and my kitchen. I am going to put the same tile in both bathrooms and then tackle installing wooden floors in my living room and master bedroom. Guess it will be a semi-new house when I get through (if I ever get done with it all). 

I also like anything to do with cars (hard to believe, huh?). If it good looking and functional, I'm there.
