I hope you enjoy your visit.
I want to offer my humble condolences to all that have been affected, and to all who have suffered, from the most despicable, cowardly acts of inhumanity I have ever witnessed. The victims of 9-11-01 deserve our respect, and the survivors deserve our support. Last, but not least, the bastards that perpetrated these acts deserve our undying attention. Bin Laden and his "followers" will suffer the ultimate sacrifice at the hands of the American people. DM 11/2001 This is not my first Web site, and it certainly won't be my last. I'm not a professional, but I do try. Authoring a website is fun, but it's not easy. One requirement for the job is being able to think "out of the box". Another is the gift of prose, and by the way, creativity doesn't hurt either. If you are anything like me, you like clean, well laid out sites that are easy to navigate and read. They must "flow" and relate a bit about the person who created them. All too often I've encountered personal sites that are drab and boring. You've all seen them; single page sites, containing one-line statements that the author hopes will describe themselves to their audience. Here's some news Irene, they don't! Whenever I encounter a...let's say, less than stellar web site, it's like having to stop and clean the bugs from your windshield so you can see the road. Invest in some software and try to do it right. No money to spend, you say? There are lots of free HTML authoring programs available on the web nowadays, so that's no excuse. Speaking of software, if your browser doesn't display the Java Applets on this site properly, click the Get Java Now button shown at the bottom of this page. By authoring this site I'm doing my part to make your personal journey on the information highway a little more pleasant. I'm a born and bred Texan, and proud of it. Lots of folks you know hail from Texas...Sam Houston, Walter Cronkite, Quanah Parker, Gene Roddenberry, Jayne Mansfield; the list goes on and on. Click here to see just how long that list is. Texas is just as big as you think it is. We all have oil wells in our back yards, we all ride horses to work and everyone owns a gun. It is the best state in the union, as well as the friendliest. Texas has more to offer its natives than all the other states combined. I'm thankful to call Texas my home. OK, enough already. Take a look around the site to learn more about me, my family, my job and my travels. I promise, you won't be disappointed.
