|
1 ¶Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of
fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims
of cunning work shalt thou make them. 2 The length of one curtain
shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain
four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.
3 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and
other five curtains shall be coupled one to another. 4 And thou
shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the
selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost
edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second. 5 Fifty
loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt
thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of
the second; that the loops may take hold one of another. 6 And thou
shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together
with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
7 ¶And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering
upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make. 8 The length
of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain
four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.
9 And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains
by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront
of the tabernacle. 10 And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge
of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops
in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second. 11 And thou
shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops,
and couple the tent together, that it may be one. 12 And the remnant
that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that
remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle. 13 And
a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which
remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang
over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side,
to cover it. 14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams'
skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.
15 ¶And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood
standing up. 16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a
cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board. 17 Two tenons
shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus
shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle. 18 And thou
shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south
side southward. 19 And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under
the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons,
and two sockets under another board for his two tenons. 20 And for
the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall
be twenty boards: 21 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets
under one board, and two sockets under another board. 22 And for
the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards.
23 And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle
in the two sides. 24 And they shall be coupled together beneath,
and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one
ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two
corners. 25 And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of
silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets
under another board. 26 And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood;
five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, 27 And five
bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five
bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides
westward. 28 And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall
reach from end to end. 29 And thou shalt overlay the boards with
gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and
thou shalt overlay the bars with gold. 30 And thou shalt rear up
the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed
thee in the mount.
31 ¶And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet,
and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be
made: 32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood
overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four
sockets of silver. 33 And thou shalt hang up the vail under the
taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark
of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the
holy place and the most holy. 34 And thou shalt put the mercy seat
upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place. 35 And thou
shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against
the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou
shalt put the table on the north side. 36 And thou shalt make an
hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet,
and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework. 37 And thou shalt
make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them
with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast
five sockets of brass for them.

1 ¶ O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance;
thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto
the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts
of the earth. 3 Their blood have they shed like water round about
Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them. 4 We are become a reproach
to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about
us. 5 How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy
burn like fire?
6 ¶Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee,
and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name. 7 For
they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place. 8 O
remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies
speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low. 9 Help us, O God
of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and
purge away our sins, for thy name's sake. 10 Wherefore should the
heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen
in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which
is shed. 11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according
to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed
to die; 12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom
their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord. 13
So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks
for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

1 ¶ Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that
leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims,
shine forth. 2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up
thy strength, and come and save us. 3 Turn us again, O God, and
cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. 4 O LORD God of
hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears
to drink in great measure. 6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours:
and our enemies laugh among themselves. 7 Turn us again, O God of
hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
8 ¶Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the
heathen, and planted it. 9 Thou preparedst room before it, and didst
cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land. 10 The hills
were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were
like the goodly cedars. 11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea,
and her branches unto the river. 12 Why hast thou then broken down
her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
13 The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of
the field doth devour it. 14 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts:
look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine; 15 And the
vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that
thou madest strong for thyself. 16 It is burned with fire, it is
cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. 17 Let thy
hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom
thou madest strong for thyself. 18 So will not we go back from thee:
quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. 19 Turn us again, O
LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

1 ¶And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany,
at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, 2
And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you:
and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied,
whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. 3 And if any man
say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of
him; and straightway he will send him hither. 4 And they went their
way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where
two ways met; and they loose him. 5 And certain of them that stood
there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? 6 And they said
unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go. 7 And
they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him;
and he sat upon him. 8 And many spread their garments in the way:
and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in
the way. 9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried,
saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the
name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest. 11 And Jesus entered into
Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about
upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto
Bethany with the twelve.
12 ¶And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was
hungry: 13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came,
if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it,
he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14
And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter
for ever. And his disciples heard it. 15 And they come to Jerusalem:
and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that
sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers,
and the seats of them that sold doves; 16 And would not suffer that
any man should carry any vessel through the temple. 17 And he taught,
saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of
all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they
might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was
astonished at his doctrine. 19 And when even was come, he went out
of the city. 20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw
the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter calling to remembrance
saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst
is withered away. 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith
in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and
shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things
which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when
ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any:
that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in
heaven forgive your trespasses.
27 ¶And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the
temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and
the elders, 28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these
things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things? 29
And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one
question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I
do these things. 30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or
of men? answer me. 31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying,
If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe
him? 32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for
all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. 33 And they
answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering
saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these
things.
