1
¶Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him,
Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they
may serve me. 2 For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold
them still, 3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which
is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels,
upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous
murrain. 4 And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel
and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that
is the children's of Israel. 5 And the LORD appointed a set time,
saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land. 6 And
the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt
died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.
7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle
of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and
he did not let the people go.
8 ¶And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls
of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven
in the sight of Pharaoh. 9 And it shall become small dust in all
the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains
upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt. 10 And
they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses
sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth
with blains upon man, and upon beast. 11 And the magicians could
not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon
the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians. 12 And the LORD hardened
the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD
had spoken unto Moses.
13 ¶And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning,
and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD
God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. 14
For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and
upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that
there is none like me in all the earth. 15 For now I will stretch
out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence;
and thou shalt be cut off from the earth. 16 And in very deed for
this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power;
and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. 17 As
yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not
let them go? 18 Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it
to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since
the foundation thereof even until now. 19 Send therefore now, and
gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon
every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall
not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they
shall die. 20 He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants
of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
21 And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants
and his cattle in the field.
22 ¶And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward
heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man,
and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the
land of Egypt. 23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven:
and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon
the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. 24
So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous,
such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it
became a nation. 25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of
Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail
smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.
26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were,
was there no hail. 27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and
Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is
righteous, and I and my people are wicked. 28 Intreat the LORD (for
it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail;
and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer. 29 And Moses
said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread
abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither
shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the
earth is the LORD'S. 30 But as for thee and thy servants, I know
that ye will not yet fear the LORD God. 31 And the flax and the
barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax
was bolled. 32 But the wheat and the rie were not smitten: for they
were not grown up. 33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh,
and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and
hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth. 34 And
when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were
ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the
children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses.

1 ¶ Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall
not be greatly moved. 3 How long will ye imagine mischief against
a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be,
and as a tottering fence. 4 They only consult to cast him down from
his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth,
but they curse inwardly. Selah. 5 My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation
and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 ¶Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before
him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. 9 Surely men of low degree are
vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance,
they are altogether lighter than vanity. 10 Trust not in oppression,
and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your
heart upon them. 11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this;
that power belongeth unto God. 12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth
mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

1 ¶ Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there
is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance
of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt
thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and
thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of
God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid;
for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of
God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore
ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience
sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's
ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 ¶Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is
due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth
another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit
adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt
not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any
other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill
to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
11 ¶And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake
out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore
cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of
light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and
drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and
envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision
for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

1 ¶ Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful
disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another,
who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him
that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that
eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another
man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he
shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man
esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike.
Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth
the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the
day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to
the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the
Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth
to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live,
we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord:
whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this
end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord
both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother?
or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand
before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live,
saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall
confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of
himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more:
but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion
to fall in his brother's way. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the
Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him
that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15
But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not
charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom
of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and
joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ
is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow
after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one
may edify another. 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All
things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with
offence. 21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine,
nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or
is made weak. 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God.
Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not
of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
