Hardware - The Various Iterations
In September 2007 to coincide with the launch of Halo 3 a new 360 was released. The Halo 3 Edition (right) is similar to the premium edition, but is green in colour. It includes a 20GB Hard-drive, 1 green wireless controller, a green wired headset, I month Xbox Live, ethernet cable, component cable and power cable
In October 2007 the core edition was re-launched in the form of the 360 Arcade Pack (left). This pack includes a 256MB memory card. On this memory card are full versions of 5 Xbox Live Arcade games, these titles will vary.
The pack also includes a wireless controller, 1 month Xbox Live, composite cable and power cable. This version includes a HDMI connector that was absent from the core edition.
To promote The Simpsons Movie a limited edition yellow Simpsons 360 (left) was produced. This edition has the some configuration as the Premium but the console and wireless controller are yellow. Only 10 were produced and were given away in the "10 Days and 10 Chances to Win" sweepstakes.
For the launch of Grand Theft Auto 4, 500 limited edition GTA 4 360s were produced. It has the same specifications as the Elite version but has a gloss black case and GTA 4 artwork on the sides. It also comes with a slew of accessories such as a wireless controller with keyboard, headset, remote etc. all housed in a metal briefcase.
