| This picture was originally posted to my webpage I had at theglobe.com. Unfortunately, they wanted to start charging for the space on their servers. That was the summer of 1998. By the winter of '98, they had gone out of business. Oh well...But when my page was still up at theglobe.com, I received several inquiries on this picture. I had planned on posting a description on line so everyone would know, but never got around to it. I did type a lot of e-mails on the procedure though. Now I feel that its time to do that page and the biggest reason why is that all the pictures I used for the page were on the site there. But this site's theme is a little different. Plus my son Devin, is much older now.(He turned 7 on August 8, 2003.) But there was a small problem I encountered that I was unaware of. Apparently, the main image was misplaced or divvied-up improperly during the split-up. But the only way I could get this was to get the printed copy I gave my parents and scan it. So the quality isn't what it used to be, but I think you will still get the gist of it all. |

| I quickly realized that I had only six weeks to show that even with Mervyn's(or whoever!)on their side, that me and my pc could still kick pixel! I made a decision on who would be my champion Training would be tough, but confidence was high! Now I had to decide on how to dress it up so as to make it noteworthy and personal. Well I'm sure that most of you by now have realized that there isn't 12 different pixs there. For instance, Pics # 4 and #11 are the same. There is also Pics 3 & 10 that appear similiar. But before you think I am a jellyhead, let me explain. Ya see Suzi, my sister, was in the habit of making dups of all the pics she took. Well I saw that she had a few of Devin so I borrowed them to scan and put 'em on my pc right? Well there were a lot of pics and I was in a hurry, so the best way to put it is that I scanned two VERY similiar pics...twice. Now many of you might say that #2 and #12 are the same. Well they aren't. These two pictures were captured from my Samsung camcorder using the Snappy interface on my pc. I have proof right here Opps! well then again... maybe I don't...Well anyway, if numbering the photos from left to right as shown the first pic (click here for a solo shot) was taken when he was about 4 months old. #7 was taken when he was 2 months old is when Devin is at his youngest. The opposite end of the spectrum #8 was taken when he was a month shy of his 2nd birthday. #5 was taken just before his trip to visit me at the Intel Plant in DuPont, Washington on Halloween 1997. And believe it or not, in this picture he is laughing, not crying like everyone seems to think for some reason. He was laughing 'cause his mother, Dana was in hysterics over his "do". And that only leaves this one to see. And Wah lah! there they are. On about Thanksgiving, it was announced that this would be what Woolworth's(this is getting confusing!)would be producing for X-mas. I didn't have the heart to tell 'em that my mantle might be a bit crowded...hehehe... Click on the links to check out how I did the picture. Each link will open a new window. The navigation buttons will give you the choice of looking at the pictures by the numbers or by the order of the links on this page. If ya have a question about what a button does, then hover the mouse over it for a description. But be forewarned... not all of my descriptions make any sense to anyone else but me. I did this hoping that curiosity about the unknown would motivate you delve further. Now if what I said is too confusing, then use the big picture above and click on the part of the picture you want to see. Hopefully that will do the trick 'cause I can't make it any easier than that! |
