California Coastline.org This site contains pictures in a database photographing every inch of the California coastline. The pictures were taken from a helicopter using a high resolution digital camera hooked up to an Apple Mac laptop by firewire. Basically the helicopter flew down the coast while the camera snapped one pic every 2 seconds. The main attraction here is that the high resolution pics enables you to zoom in close enough to be able to count the number of people lying on the beach. If ya want to see some of the most breath-taking views in the state, this is the way to do it. Barbra Streisand is suing the guys who made the site because she thinks they violated her privacy by photographing her backyard. Just an indication of how good these photos are!
