IX You Shall Not Give False Testimony Against Your Neighbor.

"You Shall Not Give False Testimony Against Your Neighbor" Homer is famous for breaking this commandment. I believe that Homer thinks that lying is a great way to get things done.

He lies to his work when he doesn't want to go in, he lies about where he was to Marge, when he and Ned Flanders went to Vegas, and he lies to Marge when he says that he has a birthday or anniversary present for her and runs out the door and we hear tires screeching. Also the advice he gives to Marge in "Marge gets a Job" Homer says, "Now, Marge, just remember". If anything goes wrong at the plant, blame the guy who can't speak english. Here he is advising to be dishonest.
