Shivaji Maharaj, Swatantryaveer savarkar, Subhaschandra Bos,Rabindranath Tagore , All these people have influenced me in one or the other way. Swatantryaveer savarkar has a special place in my heart. They have been my inspirations during my childhood and I always bow to them. These are the people who make me proud and I keep telling myself that look Darshan, whatever you do , don't do something that might make your ancestors feel ashamed. I am lucky to be born in country, where these legends were born. I salute their courage and admire wisdom. These are the people that make me say proudly that I am an Indian. As a kid I used to like the stories of brave Shivaji and imitate the same. I praised the courage with which Subhashchandra Bos went to Singapore and planned to throw away British Empire from India.
Even though many of the Indians are not aware of the heroic personality called Swatantryaveer Savarkar, his place in Indian History can't be neglected. I pay tribute to him for his love for motherland, the 50 years kalapani he spent in Andaman, his aggressive thoughts, his craving for freedom. The poems he has written during kalapani, depicts all this.
His song Ne Majasi ne , shows his craving to go to his motherland and how much he loved her.
Every time you hear this song, it touches you heart.
Here is a poem by Rabindranath Tagore which I always like to read. He had always been a great philosopher and a guru for me.
