Responsibilities
Developing schedulers for fetching data in XML format from the content providers like
reuters and money control , parsing the XML file and dumping the data into the
database.
Intranet Site
Developing House Keeping modules for monitoring feedback, enquiries and
uploading data in CSV format, articles in PDF format. Features include : Add, Modify
& Deletion of Customer Database.House keeping modules to generate
reports & create new Ids.Hierarchy based access through the Branch
Manager to the Vice-President of Customer Relationship Manager &
other top Post of the company.
Risk Profile Test
Developing risk profile test where the user is given a set of questions.
Each answer carries a particular weightage. Depending on the answer
and a formula given by the research team the profile of the user is
decided i.e. whether he is aggressive and his tendancy of investments.
It also guides the investor about measures he should adapt in his investments.User
is then given his profile in the form of a pie chart, which can then
be printed if he wants.VB- Script is used to do the calculations and
the data is not stored at all.
WAP site
Creation of the WAP site having sections like: Ticker, GET Quotes, NAVs
& Portfolio.The site has been created using WML & SQL Server
as the backend.The site is hosted on the same server where the original

Trade Online
Clients can watch the BOLT or NSE exchange in two forms: Live quotes,
which get updated from NSE on the screen, Get quotes where the client
has to request for Particular quotes.
Clients can view their Order Book, Trade Book & Snapshots for particular
Scrip.
Three level Security: First the Member Id & Password, Second level
is any two random questions created by the user when he is given permission
to Trade Online. Third level is the unique Client Code & Password
generated by the ODIN.
The Client can place order on the Odin & from there is goes to the
exchange. The Client gets a confirmation in form of an unique Order
Number sent by the exchange.
Real time updating of Scrip price from the exchange.
Created using VB DLLS, ASP & SQL Server. Data is encrypted before
storing in the database for security.
Debt Manager Module
This module is developed to reach semi wholesale & retail customers and deliver prompt service. Debt Manager is designed to be an efficient medium to keep the branches updated with latest offers under Fixed Income securities categories.
Debt Manager is a live interactive medium whereby the quotes of various offerings will be available on a continuous basis.This shall also carry brief detail about the securities and product note.At the same time, branches can revert back all business leads instantly using this module. As the responses are collected at single processing center,enabling prompt and effective service. However, all deals would be concluded and closed offline.
Further, the module is also powered with in-depth information related to provident funds, their investments pattern, rules & regulations.
The Debt Manager consists of two sections. The clients view and the module provided to the administrator to manage the responses.The user gets a list of Securities and thier bid/offer price/yields values. He can bid or offer by clicking on repective links.The administrator can add,modify security details ,calculate price or yield,close responses,delete Debt entries.Specify whether a particular security is to be displayed on Clients view or not.He can see responses for the current day on the Admin Console,which gets refreshed every ten minuts or he can query the archive of responses with the criteria such as Date range,Security name,Client Name and Status (closed/open).

This calculator is a simple tax calculator,developed for Yahoo India's finance section.The strength of the calculator is that the user has to fill in an extremely simple form.The user can directly fill in sumed up values for a particular section, or just click on the links and get more detailed form to be filled in to get the actual calculated value.Thus could be used by a novice or even more sophisticated user.
The calculator has a facility to save the tax sheet in an XML file.So that a XML parser might regenerate the same taxsheet again for that particular user.

Responsibilities
Worked on modules like Call and Email Alert. Every activity of a
Marketing executive is to be tracked by the respective Head and
the marketing executive should also be able to set reminders for
particular dates. The Email alert module takes care of all these
alerts and reminders. A scheduler runs everyday and fires all the
alerts for that particular day. Worked on reports for call . Reports
are date wise, Marketing Executive wise, Company wise etc.
