| 120. Villains An ambulance arrives and the paramedics race round to the back garden to work on Buffy. Upstairs, Willow still holds Tara in her arms. She calls upon Osiris as the room darkens. Eerie light flashes around the room as a huge Demonic face apears. Willow begs it to bring Tara back. The Demon tells her that because Tara died a natural death at the hand of a man, she can not be brought back. Willow lets loose a howl of rage and grief which sends a flash of power at the Demon and causes it to disappear. The paramedics are loading Buffy into the ambulance outside. Willow comes out of the house and asks Xander what happened. When he tells her that Warren shot Buffy, she gets a look of determination on her face and walks off. Xander accompanies a seriously wounded Buffy to the hospital. In the police station, Andrew and Jonathan are nervously watching another inmate. Andrew is comforting himself with the thought that Warren will somehow get them out. Jonathan doesn't think he will. Warren walks into a Demon Bar and orders himself a drink. He starts gloating to the other patrons about killing the Slayer. When he is told that the Slayer is not dead, only injured, he looks incredibly worried! Willow arrives at the magic Shop. Anya sees that something is very wrong. Willow demands to know where the black magic books are kept. When Anya protests to Willow, telling her she can't let her use them, Willow silences her with a wave of her hand and magicaly freezes her to the spot! Willow looks up to the magic shop balcony and suddenly magic books come flying down, landing open on the table. Willow plunges her hands into the books and the words of power disappear from the pages as Willow absorbs them. Her hair and eyes turn black! At the Summers house Dawn arrives home, completely unaware of all that has happened. She enters Willows Bedroom and is shocked to see Tara lying dead on the floor. A panicked Warren pushes his way into Racks room, demanding protection from the slayer. When Rack informs him that Buffy is the least of his problems, he should be worrying more about the incredibly powerful witch who is after him, Warren really panics! Rack agrees to help him. Buffy is lying close to death as doctors feverishly work on her. Xander is watching from outside the hospital room. With flickering lights Willow arrives and orders the Doctors out. Using magic, she removes the bullet from Buffy and the wound completely closes. Buffy Wakes up and wants to know what has happened. Willow says that she will explain, but that they have to go now. Xander, Willow and Buffy are in Xanders car, driving along a desert highway. Willow senses Warren and magicaly forces the car to take a shortcut across the dessert. Xander is not too happy about this! Halting the car when it again hits the road, Willow exits it and Stands in the middle of the highway. A bus is coming down the road. Using her powers, Willow forces the bus to stop right in front of her. She walks to the door and orders Warren, who is on the bus, out. Warren makes his way out of the bus, attempting to apologise as he leaves it. Willow will accept no apologies and slams Warren against the side of the bus. With her hand on his throat Willow tightens her grip, until there is a shower of sparks, and Warrens eye pops out of its socket and rolls on the ground. It's a Warren - Bot! Xander and Buffy run over to Willow and try to talk her out of doing anything rash. It's then that they find out that Warren killed Tara. Willow lets them know that she intends to kill Warren for what he did. Buffy tries to talk her out of it, But Willow will not listen and when Xander and Buffy aproach her she sends a blast of magic at them, which knocks them to the ground. When they get up, Willow has vanished. When Buffy and Xander arrive home they find the house apparently empty. Upstairs in Willows room they are shocked to find Dawn, distraught and huddled in a corner, watching over Tara's body. Once the police have taken the body away, Buffy Xander and Dawn try to figure out what to do. Buffy knows that they have to stop Willow from killing Warren. Xander and Dawn disagree until Buffy makes them understand that normal, human law must deal with Warren. It is decided that Buffy will take Dawn to stay with Spike, while Xander goes to the magic shop to see if he can find anything to stop Willow. At Spikes Crypt, Buffy is suprised to find Clem crypt-sitting for Spike. She asks Clem if he will watch over Dawn and he agrees to. On her way out she asks Clem how long Spike will be gone for. Clem doesn't know! Spike, who is in Africa, enters a dark cave. There are scary, wierd pictures are on the walls which Spike examines by the glow of his lighter. A Demon, hidden in the shadows, but whose eyes glow green, claims to know why Spike is there. The Demon mocks Spike but Spike tells it that he can take whatever the Demon's got, he just wants to return to what he was. At the magic shop, Xander has found Anya who is recovering from Willows spell. She explains what has happened and tells Xander that she can sense Willow. Xander then learns that Anya is once again a vengeance Demon. Buffy arrives and Anya agrees to help them, but only for Willows sake. She tells them that she can sense that Willow and Warren are in the woods. Warren is running through the woods with Willow steadily tracking him. He hits her in the back with an axe, but it does no harm at all to her. Warren runs on. He sends a couple of magic Spells at her but Willow brushes them off with no trouble. Willow casts a spell at Warren, and suddenly his arms and legs are engulfed in tree roots and vines, which hold him, spreadeagled upright! Willow aproaches him. While talking to Warren, Willow realises that Tara wasn't the first girl that Warren has Killed. Willow comands 'Reveale'! Katrina appears and taunts Warren. When he answers her back, calling her a bitch, she disappears. Anya Buffy and Xander are nearing Willow and Warren. Anya tells them that Warren is still alive. Willow shows Warren the Bullet that she took out of Buffy. Wanting Warren to feel the pain of a bullet wound she magicaly causes the bullet to enter Warrens chest, moving incredibly slowly as it forces it's way through his flesh. When Warren begins to cry out, Willow silences him with a spell that sews his mouth shut! Panting silently, in agony, Warren listens as Willow relishes and describes the pain he must be in! Eventualy she magicaly removes the stitches from his mouth and Warren begs and cries for help. As Buffy and the others aproach, Willow looks at Warren and says "Bored now!" In front of a horrified Buffy, Anya and Xander, Willow magicaly rips the skin off a still living Warren. A second or two later, the gruesome and bloody remains are engulfed in fire and burnt away. Looking at her dumbstruck friends, Willow remarks "One down...." In a flash of magic, she disappears! Episode summary by Spacenewt |
