| 119. Seeing Red Willow and Tara are lying together in bed, very obviousley in love again and idly talking. During their conversation, Tara tells Willow about Buffy and Spikes relationship. Willow is shocked by the news. Realising that they didn't hear Buffy come in that night, Willow goes to knock on her bedroom door, but there is no reply. Dawn comes out of her bedroom and when she sees Tara and Willow are back together, she is overjoyed. At the 'Trios' lair Buffy kicks open the door. The 'nerds' aren't home, but they have left a lot of their stuff lying around. Buffy starts to gather up papers and computer discs when, suddenly, huge spinning Buzzsaws start coming at her from different directions and different angles. Buffy athleticaly manages to avoid them and escapes outside. Once home, Buffy and Dawn go through the stuff she managed to salvage from the 'Trios' lair. They are joined by a very happy and giggly Willow and Tara who help them. Dawn suggests going to Spike for help, but Buffy quickly vetoes that idea. Dawn realises that Spike won't be around anymore. Anya is sitting in a bar, next to a crying woman. The woman has just found out that her partner has cheated on her and is telling Anya about it. Anya starts to try to get the woman to make a vengeance wish, but she gets sidetracked and ends up telling the woman about her and Xander. Warren, Jonathan and Andrew are in a cave system. They attack a Demon and manage to knock it unconscious by using a 'tazer'. Warren then hands Jonathan a knife! Spike is in his crypt, drowning his sorrows in alchohol, when Dawn arrives. She lets him know that she saw him and Anya together. Dawn asks him if he loves Buffy and he makes it plain that he does, which prompts Dawn to wonder how he could do that to Buffy. Spike responds sarcasticly that Buffy was treating him so well till then! Dawn tells him that if he wanted to hurt Buffy he succeeded. She leaves Spike musing about that. Andrew and Warren are standing in front of a magical barrier in the Demon Caverns. Warren explains that only a Demon can go through it, if they tried it they would be fried. Jonathan appears, wearing the still steaming skin of the Demon. He is not happy! Warren pushes him through the barrier. Jonathan reappears through the barrier carrying a box. Inside the box are two glowing orbs which Warren picks up. As he holds them they glow and send a wave of mystical power into him. He tells the other two that the orbs still work! Warren decides to test the orbs and attacks a Demon. He easily kills it, Jonathan and Andrew are very impressed and start squabbling about who gets the orbs next. Warren tells them that he gets to use them next. Buffy goes to see Xander. She finds him in his very untidy apartment, beer bottles strewn around the place. Xander tells her that the thing he is most upset about is finding out about Buffy's secret relationship with Spike. Buffy half heartedly tries to stick up for Spike but Xander tells her that he never forgot that Spike is evil. Buffy stresses that it's over, which Xander counters with ' there's a lot of that going around'. He leaves. In a bar, a woman tries to 'hit on', Xander but he tactfully lets her know that he isn't interested. Unnoticed by Xander, the three Geeks enter the bar.Warren spots a pretty girl and her boyfriend. Leaving the other two behind, Warren walks over to the pretty girl. In the graveyard, Buffy is fighting a Vampire. Unfortunately for her, just as she dusts it it manages to get in a forceful kick, which sends her flying backward onto a gravestone. Buffy grimaces in pain and rubs her back. Back at home Buffy is running a bath for herself, when Spike enters the bathroom. He tells her he wants to apologise, but Buffy just wants him to go. He tries to get her to tell him that she loves him, but all Buffy can tell him is that although she has 'feelings' for him, it isn't love as she could never trust him enough. Spike tries to kiss Buffy, but she is unwilling and they struggle. Buffy falls down and bangs her back on the bath, but Spike continues to try to kiss her and make love to her. Buffy is struggling all the time and begging Spike to stop, but Spike doesn't seem to notice. He seems convinced that if Buffy will have sex with him, that she will love him. He rips her dressing gown and Buffy finally manages to kick him across the bathroom. Spike suddenly seems to realise what he almost did to Buffy and he looks horrified. She tells him to ask her again why she could never love him! At the bar, Warren is talking to the pretty girl, when her boyfriend arrives. Warren recognises him as someone who used to pick on him at school. Warren starts to goad the boy and when the boy tries to physicaly retaliate, Warren effortlessly punches him out. Two of the boys friends join in but Warren easily beats them too. He then takes some money out of the till and crudely propositions three scared looking girls at the bar. It is at this point that Xander comes out of the bathroom and sees what is happening! He tries to attack Warren, who punches him and knocks him flying across the room. Warren is intent on Beating on Xander some more, 'till Jonathan reminds him that there was something that they have to do and they're going to be late. The three Geeks leave! Xander arrives at Buffy's house and seeing Spikes leather coat slung over the bannister, jumps to conclusions. He barges into the bathroom and sees Buffy sitting on the floor bruised and distressed. He asks if Spike.... but Buffy cuts him off with 'he tried to' but that she's ok and that she doesn't want Xander going after Spike. Willow then enters the bathroom and informs them that she's found something out! Downstairs, Willow and Tara tell Buffy that they have found out that the Geeks are planning a crime spree. Their first target is going to be an armoured van. Buffy is eager to deal with the Geeks and Xander warns her about Warrens super strength! Spike is in his crypt, drinking and having flashbacks to the bathroom scene. Clem arrives with junk food, hoping for a night in in front of the Television. Spike tells Clem that he can feel the chip squirming around in his head 'it won't let me be a monster, and I can't be a man.' Spike decides that he is going to make things change! At an amusement park a security van is picking up the days takings, when Warren tips the van onto it's side. Buffy suddenly appears ontop of the Van. She jumps down and procceeds to fight Warren, but she is not having much luck until she kicks him into an archway, which collapses on him. Buffy thinks she has won and starts to walk towards Jonathan and Andrew, when suddenly, Warren appears amongst the rubble, easily disentangling himself. He starts to fight Buffy again, all the time making obnoxious comments to her! Jonathan pretends to attack Buffy and tells her to Smash 'the orbs'. The next time Warren comes in for the attack he manages to throw Buffy down, just in time she spots the wallet containing 'the orbs' and smashes them. No longer super strong, Warren is punched across the park. As Buffy comes towards him, Warren reveals that he has a jet pack on under his jacket and he flies off into the night. Slightly stunned, Buffy turns to Andrew and Jonathan, but Andrew taunts her and reveals his own jet pack. Unfortunately for him, he forgets that there is a metal awning above his head and he flies right into it, knocking himself unconscious! Andrew and Jonathan are taken off to jail. Outside Buffy's house, Spike pulls up on his motorbike. He Says that when he gets back, things are going to change. He then rides off into the night! Buffy is in the garden, poking at the shrubbery and looking for remote cameras. Xander arrives and they sit on a bench to talk. They apologise to each other for their behaviour and embrace. Warren appears through the garden gate. He is very angry and brandishing a gun. Shooting Wildly at Buffy and Xander he runs off. Xander and Buffy fall to the ground! Willow and Tara have been upstairs kissing and talking, when the sound of tinkling glass is heard. Willow, who is standing oposite Tara is suddenly splatterd with blood. Tara falls forward, dead, into Willows arms! In the garden, Xander realisies that Buffy has been shot, as she lies motionless, blood seeping from a wound in her chest. Upstairs, a grief stricken Willow is cradling her dead lover in her arms, begging her to come back. Still cradling Tara, Willow looks up and her eyes are glowing red with hatred and grief!
