| There once was a game, which was the best online RPG game I've ever played. It's offline now. But, Seijiro did us all a veeeeeerryyyy big favor, and bought the software 8-) So that he could bring the game back online. Everything on this page was made after the original game went down, and before it was known that the game would come back online. So, everything is written as if it were in the past. I'm too lazy to change that. But, the original name can't be used anywhere. So I have edited that. This site contains information about; - Starting - Areas - Quests - Ranks - Skills scroll down for the links to those sections It WILL contain more screenshots, later on. I will complete the links page later.. Short introduction: The game was a game with many many players, still they every player knows almost everyone. There were many goals to accomplish, you could even set your own weird goals. The game could keep you addictive for years. There were many areas, many friendly people, there was an option to kill other players, there were lots of items, lots of ways to raise your character, just too much to describe...The highest rank was Warlord, and in the 3 - 4 years the game has been online, only ehm.. 15 (?) made it to Warlord, not much. The game was created by a man who calls himself "Ishtar" in the game. Later Zoetje also became an important god. The game was run by Gods, Imps, and Staffers. They were there to.. look after everyone. It was simply a wonderful game. There are no other words to describe it. Still, I will try. BEFORE ENTERING THE GAME On the website you could download the game. Once you had downloaded it, you could just unpack it and open merc.exe Then you would get this screen: |

| First you would have to create a new account. You had to provide a NAME for it, one word, only letters, starting with a capital. Like: Tjip, Balkoth, Darkaos, Kojaran, Chibata, Axufizz, but also Zzzzz and Xgnagna. PASSWORD -could be anything. Description: here you could put in a description of your character. What he looks like, how he acts, anything you want. Then you had to choose a CLASS. In the beginning there were 3 classes where you could choose from: Templar - specialized in fighting. Mercenary - knows both a bit of fighting and magic. Harakim - specialzed in magic. Then you could earn the other races. Seyan'Du - can fight very good and knows magic pretty well. Had to be earned by defeating the Gatekeeper at lab13 (more about labs later). The Gatekeeper was a Lieutenant Colonel Seyan'Du. (yes thats right the ranking system was the same as in the army except for the last 4 ranks). Arch-Templars and Arch-Harakims didn't have the option to become Seyan'Du. Arch-Templar - the improved version of the Templar. The ultimate fighter. To earn this, you had to deliver a potion of life to the shrine in lab13, when your strength and agility were at 90. (being a Templar of course). Arch-Harakim - the improved version of the Harakim. The ultimate spellcaster. To earn this, you had to deliver a potion of life to the shrine in lab13, when your willpower and intuition were at 90. (being a Harakim of course). Warrior - the fight-version of the Mercenary. To eran this, you had to deliver a greater health potion to the shrine in lab13, when your strength and agility were 60. (being a Mercenary of course). Sorcerer - the spell-version of the Mercenary. To earn this, you had to deliver a greater mana potion to the shrine in lab13, when your willpower and intiution were at 60. (being a Mercenary of course). After choosing your class, you were ready to enter the world of Aston. But not before you had chosen: your sex, whether you would like sound/shadow effects on, and the alpha. Then it was just a matter of clicking the "start" button. Then you would enter Aston in the temple. Now you had the freedom to do everything you want (that is, if you had the controls under control). You could do quests, labyrinths, participate in the pentagram quest, walk in the park, create magical potions, explore dangerous areas, chat, make money, and much much more.
