Tour Guide Fees

1) Sightseeing tour of Tbilisi - 15 Euro an hour for one person (The fee does not include meals),

                                                     


2) A one day tour outside Tbilisi - 50 Euro per day for one person (The fee does not include meals) 

 for any additional person plus only 30 Euro.i.e for 2 person total price will be = 80 Euro,

                                                                    3 person = 110 Euro,

                                                                    4 person = 140 Euro,

                                                                    5 person = 170 Euro,

                                                                   for the group consisting of more than 5 persons will be fixed price 200 Euro per day

                  

Tbilisi (a full day sightseeing) - We start our visit to Old Tbilisi from Sameba (Holy Trinity) Cathedral, which is still under construction, but is the biggest Cathedral in Georgia. Then continue with Metekhi Church XIII c. and the Statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali - founder of Tbilisi, Martyrs' bridge - where in the 13th century during Jelal-ad-din's invasion a hundred thousand Christians were beheaded, Caravanserai Museum where we can see old photographs of Tbilisi, Sioni  The Patriarchal Cathedral VII c., The  Anchiskhati Church - the oldest building in Tbilisi that has withstood several thousand invasions and dates back to VI c., The National Art Museum - which is housed in a 19th century Theological Academy where Stalin studied to be a priest. Here you can see the gold treasures of the nation, exquisitely crafted crowns and chalices covered with jewels hundreds of years old, jewellery from prehistoric sites, icons so revered that the faithful come to the vaults to seek redemption and cures.                                          


 


Tbilisi (a full day sightseeing) - The oldest and most famous brick-domed Sulphur Baths where visitors will later have the opportunity to take a sulphur bath and invigorating massage; Narikala Fortress VI c., Synagogue, The Modern Art Gallery, The Rusudan Petviashvili's Gallery  the famous Georgian artist whose childhood drawings were described by Pablo Picasso as works of genius.

 

Tbilisi (a full day sightseeing) - Mtatsminda (holy mountain)  the St. David Church (XIX c.), Father David's cell (VI c.) and The Pantheon of Georgian writers and public figures, St. George Kashveti Church (1910), The National Library - former XIX c. The State Bank Office, Janashia State Art museum (1852), which initially was the Caucasian museum with geological, botanical, archaeological, ethnographical and historical collections from different parts of the Caucasus. Here you can see the gold treasures of the nation, exquisitely crafted crowns and chalices covered with jewels hundreds of years old, jewelry from prehistory sites.  The Open air Museum of Ethnography which is an  historic village created by buildings moved there from the far reaches of the country showing how life has evolved in the Caucasus.

 
 


Mtskheta (a full day sightseeing) - The ancient capital of Iberia between 500 BC and 500 AD., The Jvari (Cross) monastery VI c. - UNESCO World Heritage site; Svetitskhoveli (Life-Giving Pillar) Patriarchal Cathedral XI c. UNESCO World Heritage site, where the Most Holy relic the Seamless Chiton of Christ is buried (for which the soldiers cast lots at the Crucifixion); The Samtavro Nunnery (1030 AD) where King Mirian and Queen Nana are buried  who declared Orthodox Christianity as the state religion in 325 AD; The Shio-Mgvime monastery complex VI c. (more than 100 cave-cells)


 

David Gareja (a full day sightseeing) - Drive to Gareja semi-desert, near the border of Azerbaijan, where 17 rock-cut monasteries are located.

Gori (a full day sightseeing) - Stalin's Museum, the fortress of Gori and Uplistsikhe cave town which dates back to VI c. BC. There was a beautiful rock-hewn city from the Hellenistic period until the XIV c.

Kazbegi (a full day sightseeing) - The Ananuri complex, XVII century; Caucasus Mountains, "Gergetis Sameba" Holy Trinity Church, XIV century.


 

The cost for a full day's rental of a four-wheel drive car is 100 US Dollars plus petrol (about 20 dollars).


Bolnisi and Dmanisi (a full day sightseeing) - The Bolnisi Sioni Basilica V c., Dmanisi Nakalakari  where the skull of the first inhabitant in Europe was found (1.7 million years ago).

The cost for a full day's rental of a four-wheel drive car is 110 US Dollars plus petrol (about 20 dollars).

 


Kakheti (a full day sightseeing) - Drive to Georgia’s main wine producing region and visit a vineyard and winery. In Tsinandali  visit the museum and estate of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. Later explore the Kakheti area including the Gremi Fortress and Alaverdi Cathedral, Ikalto Academy, Gurjaani "Kovladwminda" Church.
