challenge and a lot of calm confidence about me these days! I never knew life could be so much fun! Misery and low-self worth seem to have vanished :-)

The Body For Life For You Convention in Orlando was fantastic! I've returned with a lot of information to work on. I'm happy and have what I call an internal smile all the time. I'm looking forward to seeing Porter when he makes his stop in Toronto. I may be 46 and have worked at GM for 25 years with not much to show for it, but I'm happy, happy with who I am, happy with the efforts I've taken and happy with this lifestyle. And, I get compliments all the time! My BEFORE and AFTER pictures have created quite a buzz around GM and guys are asking me a lot of questions about various exercises for various body parts. One guy's wife called me up and wants me to come over so she can have a look! Is this crazy or what? It's really quite amazing what 12-weeks can do! Al, my group leader said, "That's all we need - a 46-year-old running around in a 20-year-old body!" I looked at him and grinned and said, "You can have one too, in just 12 weeks!" Another supervisor looked at me when I showed him my before and after shots and said, "How'd ya do it - put your head on another body?" I looked at him with the biggest smile and said, "You just gave me the biggest compliment I ever had!" I have a totally different perspective on life. I refuse to be victimized by my own thoughts or by other people anymore, and I'm getting a lot quicker at identifying adversity. I've learnt that:
"Adversities often disguise themselves, but once identified become the opportunities through which High Point Living is obtained." I've gained back my self-respect and sense of purpose and mission. I look forward to help teach healthy living, doing some Personal Training, and personally am preparing to start a Circuit-Training, Carb-Up, Carb-Down BFL Program as suggested by Lynn Lingenfelter and Eric Shrieves down in Orlando. I still have to get some details, but I got enough info to start my new binders! And, I can't forget Lynn's gentlemanly bet for both of us to be down to around 6% Fat% by this time next year. Gotta love the challenges and celebrations of healthy living! The key to Body-for-LIFE as I see it, is not to give up on yourself or on the Body-for-LIFE program. It works! Encouraging change requires a focused intensity and decision to exchange negatives with positives and patience to identify the negatives. For me, it was also a matter of letting go of giving up on myself. It's important to be kind to yourself and to others. In the final analysis there's always a decision and a follow-through. I hope you'll TAKE ACTION and also be able to celebrate healthy living to the fullest. Thanks for reading My Story and as Porter Freeman says, "It's mine, and I'm stickin' to it!" Enjoy High Point Unlimited Living and your Body-for-LIFE!
