Ever wonder how to substute a key ingredient?  Well, maybe this will help:

To make a cup of sour milk add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, plus enough milk to make a cup, let stand 5 minutes.

No baking powder?   For 1 teaspoon use, 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar.

No Lemon juice?   For 1 teaspoon, use 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar.
