I left NZ on Thursday 23rd August 2002. I stopped over in Singapore for two nights and arrived in London on the Saturday.
First impressions of the UK. What a shit hole! The airport was hardly welcoming, my lugguage took for ever to come through (very proud that everything only weighted 22.5 kg, thank goodness for hand luggage), the tube broke down (little did I know there was worse to come what with the terriost scares, fire fighter strikes, tube stirkes)
Happy New Year. News in my world today -07 January 2005. I have just returned from a fabulous three weeks in Israel. Landing in Tel Aviv we headed down to Eilat for five nights then back up to Haifa for a few to discover the Sea of Galolli and the surrounds, Jerusalem for seven days and then a couple more in Tel Aviv before we headed back to reality. Next trip is in Easter, mainly to Egypt but will all visit Jordon, Syria and Lebbonon.
