The pages on your PC look good but they have to be seen by the world and be appreciated. You will have to upload to pages to a computer connected permanently to the Internet. There are a lot of site which will host your pages for free. The catch is that visitors will have to view some irritating advertisements. A small price to pay for your work to be appreciated. People these days use software which bypass the ads. Well that's is  not what we are here to discuss.

Your site can be hosted by service providers for a fee. Geocities has a paid service where the nagging ads are not present. You will have to pay money for this.  It is for you to decide what option you would like to take.

Whatever be the option you will have to upload the pages to the server. This can be done by a FTP package like Cuteftp or by the upload facility provided by the host like Geocities. It is a good idea to have all the file names in small letters. Some servers are case sensitive and differentiate between small and capital letters. Example.GIF and example.gif will mean two different files. Geocities upload facility has an option to change file names to the lowercase. NOTE - The file names used to accesses the these files in your page also should be in the lowercase in this case. 

Check the pages thoroughly on the Internet. It is a good idea to clear your browser Cache before you do this. This will make sure that the files and images you are loading is from your site and not local to your PC.

All done! Go ahead and tell the world. Submit your site to the search engine.
