SEARCH ENGINES

If you see the HTML source of web page you will see some text between <head></head> tags. These are very important so do not neglect them. Lot of thought should go into writing this.

The <title></title> tag enclose the title of the page. This should be as descriptive as possible. In a few words you should be able to describe what your page is all about and put it here. The search engines bring up page based on the words here.

The "Keywords" give the words that the page has and can be used by a person searching for such information. Single words separated by comma or combination of words can be used as keywords. The "Description" describes what the page has and is the message that the search engines display.

Read up the articles on search engines and give some thought as to what you have to put here. I am still learning.

Now you can upload your pages on to the Internet.
