Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1961. Cynthia Rey had her first contact with the “plastic world” while attending high school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She later studied art and psychology at Michigan State University.
In San Francisco she worked at the Shelter for Battered Women and painted and wrote after hours.
She has traveled extensively in the United States and Europe and finally settled in Southern Spain where she lives with her husband and children.
She has exhibited in Spain and Michigan over the past decade.
