Poverty
makes you cringe and yet feel thankful for being able to adapt to
even the harshest conditions if that is what it takes to survive.
The roughness of it all leaves me burnt and arrogant or trembling
with uncertain fears.
Here
and going or there and coming, you are in neither place: trying to
live two lives.
American
women are earning more money than their husbands who are often
unemployed and busy learning the housekeeping duties that women mastered
over the centuries. I love myself better than you, what can I do?
Working
on old stories from the eighties.
Painting big bulls’ heads, color changes, tone down,
lighten up and get rid of that heavy yellow muck. Terrible things
happen and people hurt themselves.
Getting
things ready for exhibit in Zubia Town Center. I am still fretting
about the past. We
undergo the constant difficulties that exist between man and woman,
especially when ego gets involved.
