GOKARNA & PATAN DURBAR SQUARE-15 feb 2001

GOKARNA 

It is a Royal games Sanctuary .also known as Gokarna Safari Park..There is also a rest house for the Royal families.Earlier a lot animals could be spotted in this sanctuary.But recently all of them died suddenly due to an epidemic.At present a beutiful Golf course is made for tourists.We did not go much inside due to lack of time!

PATAN DURBAR SQUARE           

The city of Patan is full of Hindu Temples and bhuddist Monuments.The diversity of the medieval culture that allowed both hinduism and bhudhism to flourish has left a rich legacy of impressive sightseeing or today's visitors!

The Patan durbar Square is a beautiful place and worth visit with its beautiful architecture.The square is full of ancient palaces ,temples and shrines noted for their exquisite carvings. Anyone interested in ancient architecture will fall head over heels for the intricate designs on stone and metal.

  

The Patan Museum is one of the best museums in Asia.This museum specialises in Bronze statues and Religious objects.
